How must stock do you guys place in
I assume they are just stripping the language from the browser someone is using?
Here's an example stat of an ad campaign I'm running in Germany. Important: the ad is in english. This is on an ad network with NO language targeting available.

Data tells me: Of people who
51% of the time person had German language
30% of the time person had English language
20% other random languages
Here's another screenshot of Germany traffic on Bing where I DO have language targeting as an option.

Ironically, on Bing I have "English" as a language selected. And the ad is in english. But in this case everyone is coming in as speaking German.
So this is some interesting and/or concerning data at the least. Do I believe my tracker? Do you guys put much stock into the language stuff?
I will throw up some German ads anyways to verify the test.
I generally take the
In every campaign I run, there are languages that do not match the GEO I'm targeting ... many people simply do not change their settings from the default, some people travel, some are foreigners, some are bots...
Not sure about the bing data sample, looks like completely opposite of what I'd expect ... I mean, even when I target the language at the source, some other languages will be in the mix anyways ... but it should be a minority and not pretty much everyone... weird.
As far as I know
Bing on the other side might have some different ways to know the users language and might use those.
But still funny how their data is off compared to
Anyway in this case you just have to believe the data you see.
If German is converting (even if its set to English), then just let it like that.
You can try to target other languages and see how they will show up in Voluum.
It sucks, but we have to work with what we have.
(another ides -> you can also install some analytics on your site and see what will show up there
)
