Hey gang. Its your fav romanian here. quick question..
Anyone have any tips on taboola? Any updates? People that are pushing decent numbers?
Im curious about how others are doing on it and how it comes up against revcontent. Quality of traffic against revc?
Obviously its alot stricter but could you get away with grey hat? Not a fan of cloaking to begin with or any sort of things like that.

Taboola should have higher traffic quality in general, at least thats the info I got from a few affiliates who are doing well with native.
Bumping this thread for you to get it some more eyeballs and hopefully get an answer from someone who has personal experience.
Hi Jeremiah,
We've been working on Taboola for a couple of years now. I'll say this - the quality of the traffic seems marginally better than other big native sources, BUT, its truly a nightmare to get content through...
Anything 'grey' that you might smuggle through after weeks of trying, won't get reapproved to a new campaign when you reupload. This is obviously crap for testing purposes. Content frequently gets taken down once it starts getting any traffic. Plus, it takes a long time to have content approved - a week or so sometimes. Also a high rejection rate on ads which would easily get approved elsewhere. This strictness makes it very difficult to get any kind of workable CTR.
Right now the biggest problem there is the army of copycats hanging about preying on your camps. Soon as you run new content its cloned the same day and your traffic is stolen. Taboola doesn't offer any protection for this kinda thing. Then of course people will add in sensational claims etc and the offer will be banned. You typically get a month on an offer.
Due to this, a lot of marketers have given up on it recently this year. Of course you can still make it work, but be prepared to run very whitehat right through your funnel and have your work stolen almost instantly.
A good place for brand traffic, a not so good place for affiliate marketers anymore - We're doing half the numbers on average in 2018, that we did last year...
Hey Jeremiah Taboola has some of the best if not the best traffic quality.
You can run pure whitehat offers on there, yes the approval times and content is a bit brutal but in our experience it's all worth it.
Traffic is way better than MGID and Revcontent. This is where the big guys go. If you can make it work on Taboola it takes little effort to keep it up.
Go for it.
What other's said great quality, though you need to run whitehat. Lots of competition. If you plan to run likely everyone your competing with is the advertiser themselves or affiliates direct. Their content review process like other's said is much like facebook. Once day they'll approve a creative next day they won't. It's really whoever is reviewing your approval that day whether some content runs. As mentioned scaling grey content is a pain b/c even though it's been approved, once you dupe another reviewer sees it and they may deny it.
Much pricier than it was last year. We keep doing less and less.
