  • Visual Reporting features - Things like campaign performance over a period of days etc.
  • Seeing stats from all Traffic sources together - instead of one Traffic source at a time?
  • Tracking changes made to a "Specific" campaign - adjustment in bids etc.
Thanks for the kind words and input Adi! We added your suggestions to our feature request list

Hey guys, hope you’re doing great!

I just wanted to drop a few lines regarding two important updates we just released in TheOptimizer Native.

With this last update besides auto-optimizing all your native advertising campaigns across previously supported traffic sources, you can now manage and auto-optimize your Yahoo Gemini campaigns as well quickly clone your existing campaigns not only with a single duplicate campaign, but multiple campaign variations with the click of a button.

In case you're curious to see the platform in action for yourself, drop me a PM and let's jump into a 1-on-1 Skype Live Demo

Even though we've been a bit silent lately, a lot of work has been going on in order to improve our platforms

We are happy to announce our recent integration with RedTrack.io

If you are already using RedTrack.io to track your campaigns all you have to do is to enter your account API key and benefit the most of your automatic optimization rules.

We also sealed a special deal for those who haven't tried RedTrack yet

I am a very happy customer of TheOptimizer and would recommend it to anyone who does native ads

It has saved me quite literally thousands of dollars in spend on bad widgets on Revc alone.

I am pumped you guys are adding a whitelist feature for Revc- that will be great!

My other dream wish would be for you to include the 'Referrer' name for Revc widgets next to the widget ID. So instead of just saying '96834' it would say 'wnd.com - 96834', as an example.

Again, just something to add to the wish-list if you keep one

Thanks for the kind words jack_l , and for your suggestions .

Whitelists is something we are working on and should be available soon.

Regarding the domain info for widget ids, will need to check if this info is available via API from RC. If yes it is relatively easy to add it.

Another good news is that we will be releasing Revcontent widget bidding this week . So all the automatic bidding options available already for the other sources will be available for Revcontent widgets as well.

Updates will be published here, so stay tuned

We are thrilled to announce the release of Automatic Widget Bidding for RevContent on TheOptimizer Native

Starting from today, TheOptimizer Native enables you to automate your widget bidding strategy for RevContent campaigns in no time at all. All you need to do is to create your automatic bidding rules for revcontent widgets and have it run on auto-pilot.

But that’s not all, besides automatic bid change rules for RevContent widgets, Power-Users now can upload custom calculated bids for your campaign’s widgets using CSV without bothering on placing their bids manually on Rev

Hey guys, wanted to share with you two important updates we have released in TheOptimizer Native these last few days:

1. Custom Time Zone Reporting

Now you can connect your traffic source accounts to the time zone you need without having to deal with different time zone reporting from the traffic source and TheOptimizer.

In case you have your traffic source accounts already connected to TheOptimizer, all you need to do is edit the desired traffic source and select the time zone based on which you need to pull the data from.

2. Manual Conversions Upload (Tracker Agnostic Optimization)
In case you are tracking your campaign results using an in-house tracking platform, CRM or even using a tracker that does not have an API interface (not supported in TheOptimizer) this feature will help you save a huge amount of time.

Using the updated Manual Stats Update feature in TheOptimizer Native you will be able to update your campaign statistics whenever needed by simply updating your conversion data right from the interface or using a CSV file.

Hey man, sure!

Basically when you run a whitelist campaign, even though you might not have a lot of widgets to get rid of, you will still need to optimize your campaign bids in order to keep your its performance optimal and deal with the competition.
Let's consider the following scenario:

Say you're running 5-10 camps across 2 or 3 ad networks like: MGID, RevContent and Taboola. On these campaigns you're targeting approximately 50-150 widgets with 5 ads (image + headline) each.
After these campaigns have been running stable for a week or so, their performance may start to drop and you and up dealing with the following.

- Your average cost per acquisition starts to increase up to the point where you have to drop bids accordingly in order to give some room for profit.
- Other affiliates are bidding higher then you for the same placements which lowers the amount of traffic and chances of your offers to convert on those placements.
- In order to improve the overall results of your camps you might want to drop the bids to the bare minimum or increase them on specific hours.
- You need to scale your ad spent on some good performing days in order to maximize your profits.

For the above and other scenarios I might have not taken in consideration, all you need is to create simple rules that takes care of all the needed changes over these campaigns and do the work for you. This way you can spend more time on dealing for better payouts of your offer, find better ones or even improve your funnel by tweaking your landers and ads.

If you have any specific case you're struggling with, I'll be happy to assist

Hey guys, hope you're having some amazing plans for this weekend!

After successfully integrating native ad networks like RevContent, Taboola, Outbrain, MGID, Adskeeper, ContentAd today we finalized full support for Yahoo Gemini.

Because Yahoo Gemini has a slightly different campaign structure compared to the other traffic networks, I created a separate thread in order to describe all the available functionalities you can take advantage of when running native camps on Gemini.

Stay tuned, we've got some other amazing stuff coming soon!

Only less than a week ago we released Yahoo Gemini integration and today we are super happy to announce the newest addition to our Campaign Management & Automatic Optimization platform - VoluumDSP.

Thanks to VoluumDSP now you can have quite more native traffic inventory available to your reach, while at the same time quickly optimize your campaigns using advanced automatic optimization rules from TheOptimizer.io

Here's a quick list of advanced automatic optimization rules you can create for your VoluumDSP campaigns.

Feel free to let us know if you have any questions in the comments below

Hi platinum, I do a lot of optimization on intuition. I noticed that when I have to think about if/then rules I'm struggling. When I would use TheOptimizer, would you be able to help set up some rules according to my epc or cpa goals?

Hey Jan, apologies for the delay in replying to your post! (was under the impression I already did that)

Please to drop me a PM with your skype and let's sort out any difficulties you might have creating your automatic optimization rules.

I implemented this rule while my campaigns were being reviewed and this rule triggered.

I got around this by adding a condition that at least $100 was spent, in addition to the ROI < 5%.

If I'm reading this right, you block publishers with LP CTR less than 75%.

Is expecting a LP CTR of over 75% reasonable?

I think the point of that one was blocking publishers with lots of clicks but no conversions.

Typical lp ctr on natives is anything from 5 - 65% depending on vertical/device/etc (average maybe 25-30%), so I think the only lp-based rules most people use are to block pub's with super super low lp ctr's (1% or less after x number of clicks) or super super high ones that some people believe are indicative of bot traffic (like block any with lp ctr over 75% but no conversions).

04-15-2019 09:19 AM #22 platinum (Veteran Member)

Thanks for the input @jack_l!

My apologies @bluemarble! Example A2 is meant to block high landing page ctr non converting publishers. So the correct conditions

Example A2: Block Publisher based on Click Performance using Landing Pages – with a Tracker
Conditions: IF Traffic Source Clicks ≥ 50 AND Landing Page CTR > 75% AND Conversions < 1
Stats interval: Based on the performance of the last 30 days
Run this rule: Every 10 minutes

Fixed the example in the original post.

Hey guys,

Wanted to share an important update we just released in TheOptimizer Native.

If you are using Google Analytics to track the performance of your native advertising campaigns, now you can have it integrated in your TheOptimizer account and use GA stats to automate your campaigns optimization.

Here's a quick breakdown of the metrics based on which you can optimize your GA tracked campaigns:

In addition to the above, if you’re running traffic arbitrage campaigns with Adsense, you can automate your optimization tasks based on the below metrics.

If you are using native ads for your e-commerce products, traffic arbitrage or simply tracking your campaign's traffic, then you need to try this out!

As always, feel free to ask your questions in the comments below.

Cheers, Losid

Yes, I think it's backwards then. Shouldn't it be "Block if LP CTR > 75%" if it's true that bots either click 0% or 90% of the time?

Edit: Nevermind, I see that it got fixed.
