Hey everyone-
So I created a google adwords account about 3 weeks ago, ran about 250$ worth of ads on it. All video ads to a Clickbank information product (very family friendly/educational). Video was from a very family-friendly account with 5 videos on it I made in tandem with the ads.
I signed up for the adwords account in my personal name, but used the credit card of my LLC I use for IM stuff for the payments.
Account was under review for first week, then started working, no problems.
Even spoke with them on the phone to troubleshoot something.
Then suddenly out of nowhere yesterday I get a notice by email that my account is under review... only thing it says is something about 'suspicious payment activity' but not sure if that was the reason or not... anyway, I fill out the entire giant form they give explaining exactly who I am, offer to send them my driver's license, explain that the credit card is in my name and tied to the LLC's account.. offer to talk to them on the phone, send them my LLC paperwork, do things different if I did something wrong, etc. Very polite/professional.
Then just now I get an automatic email telling me the account is banned and not to create any others.
Is this normal? Do they do this all the time? I have to admit its absolutely maddening...
I hadn't even run any ads on it for a week before it got banned, nor even logged into the account, because I was focused on jumping into native.
Any thoughts?
One of their people tried to call me like 5 days ago to help me utilize the account to the best of my ability/do a free feedback session/whatever those are, and I didn't call back, but I can't imagine that would cause them to ban it... and if they were going to do so because I used an LLC's credit card why wouldn't they do that at the start?
Any thoughts are appreciated. I had planned on just focusing on native anyway rather than adwords for the immediate future, but its just such a bad taste in the mouth getting banned and having absolutely no idea why :/
Adwords is banning too many accounts and i think they don't unban an account! There are too many peoples using VCC threshold accounts to run churn&burn campaigns, maybe that's why your account got banned.
Native is really big traffic source though. Good luck for running native campaigns!

Thanks leadcloak- I appreciate you responding.
I am definitely going to stick with native from here on out
So far am on MGID and Revcontent, and going to focus on mastering those for awhile, then eventually hope to get going with Taboola and Outbrain too.
