Quora Potential? (16)

Now in one of matuloo's awesome weekly industry news he said that quora was rising up in the ad game so i was just wondering if anyone has given it a shot and made it work.

if so...

What are the prices like?

How is the traffic quality?

Best converting niches?


Not sure if anyone has gotten on it yet from here but if they did im sure alot of us not just me would be curious and interested in what you have to saw.

I used to use Quora for organic traffic generation alot and really like it. I obviously haven't bought ads on it but I remember clicking on a lot of them.

Reminds me of Instagram where the ads fit in really smoothly and crisply and without friction/resistance.

If you try it out please let us know how it goes!

Recently i clicked on an ad and the targeting of ad was really nice around the question! but i haven't bought ads on quora yet.

I was actually thinking about organic traffic on quora. I might do that later on as a side gig and see what i can do. But im definitely going to do alot more research on it and ask around. I am focused on native atm and i promised myself i would stay focused but this seems like a great opportunity so im digging in.

And like jack says it flows really smoothly kind of like native so maybe you can somewhat take the same approach? Really to soon to tell. But if i find anything big or better yet throw a camp in there and spend a few hundred for testing i will keep you guys posted.

Quora is great for organic/referral traffic and for SEO purpose (you won't get a dofollow link and SERP 50--> page 1) too!
So it's deserve a try for sure! Keep us posted, Good Luck!

I'm playing with it lately too.

Also only with the organic part so far.

In some cases they rank higher than my websites, so I leverage that fact by answering those questions.

As I'm playing around I did some reverse engineering by answering some high traffic questions with small amount of answers.

It can bring in lot of views:

so i just got this email from quora:

"We have reviewed your ads and have found that they need editing in order to comply with our advertising policies. The following ads require your attention:"


The ads were "best site to look for a job in 2018" and "in need of a job ASAP?" And none of them got approved. Most likely going to try later on something else. I apologize i could not put on a show for you guys.

But if anyone did get their ads approved and is running Quora Let me know!

Was this all info they gave you? I can see why they would deny the "BEST site to look for a job" since it's bold statement and barely true. But the other one looks pretty normal. How did you structure the channel? Is there an LP too or a direct link to the offer?

These are just internal views of my answers at Quora.

In that post I don't have links to my site.

I'm over 5k views now, one post is really hitting it.

I also saw guys posting affiliate links, but thats again terms, and they are getting deleted, so the way to go will be to send people to prelanders with quality content that extends your answers.

Nope that's it. I am focusing on native right now. But i do plan on going through it and checking over all their policies and trying again at a later date. I am quite excited since quora is still a new platform. Also just checked my account right now and i got this "Your ad account is currently suspended and your campaigns have been paused." And i never touched the account since last night.

Sooooooooo..... Anyways i might just leave it be. Honestly not sure yet. But like i said before if anyone has any good camps running on there let me know!

They probably flagged your account since they deemed your initial ads inappropriate ... Im sad I cant assist you further, since I have no experience with this source at all

Oh stop it. Your paying 99 dollars a month to help others all day while running your own business. If anything im sad i can't buy you a rolex yet. It's fine i can easily get around the account part. Still am curious to learn more about it just because its so new. Maybe try different variations of acquiring traffic as well. Asking around and looking into that.

after i have a stable camp or 2 on revcontent ill take a deeper look into quora and see what happens. If you see me all the sudden buying a bunch of investment properties and investing in businesses you will know it worked out LOL.
