Is this a good example of a high converting product page?

Hi all,

I hope this aligns with the rules here, if not, sorry!

I came across an IG ad while browsing for a product in the health vertical which I am doing as well with Shopify. Their product page looks a lot more involved than mine, and has many different labels, pictures, reviews, add-on's (e.g. "Dave just bought this from Amsterdam 20 mins ago").

I'm curious what everyone's thoughts are, and if something like this is accepted to perform much better than an average Shopify product page with minimal copy beyond well written bullet points, pics, and clean outline.

I'd like to improve the way I set up my own store's products -- and if some of these techniques help visitors convert better that would be helpful to know.

**Disclaimer - Not my store/product, I have no affiliation with this person/company and don't know who it is**

this online store is pushed a lot in facebook ads, I see these ads on a few of my accounts. In my opinion this is a pretty good page designed to push the user to buy, I personally consider social proof and urgency to be the most effective tactics. This is respectively "image reviews" at the bottom from Loox plugin and Purchase notifications (like Sales Pop). I do not personally like to overdo it, even though there are many more ways to spice up the site

I am getting paranoid because of all the pop-up stuff etc. Also the payment method logo's look very big and uhm...kinda fake or such. Anyway I am not the target group for this but there is only one way to find out..... TEST TEST TEST!

Make a similar page like this and split test against your current page. No one can tell you what's working better! I have seen very clean and empty pages doing way better than pages which are "optimized" with all kind of stuff.

Good points, thanks both of you!

@carramba, nice to know the name of the plug-ins, I was wondering what they were.

Sounds like as usual with AM, and as stickupkid said -- you need to test, test, test haha.

I will give this a try on my upcoming store, and share my experience.

Here what they are missing (and 99% of Shopify sellers miss).... Video. Do you know how simple a video is to intergrate into the Shopify sales page? Do you know how much it would help prospective customers feel better about their purchase if they saw a "how to video", a video with reviews or even a video from the store owner promising to back every purchase with a satisfaction guaranty?

But where do you get the video?

See all of those product reviews at the bottom of the page? I would screen capture the best ones, put in a slide show with music and have one for 30 seconds to a minute. And I would have somewhere near the top of the sales copy.

In regards to fake looking payment logos, you must understand that people who click these shitty ads in facebook and later proceed to purchase overpriced items from china are not the smartest of the bunch :-)

I fully agree, I think the video is the bomb and I am sure it will increase sales exponentially. My idea is to order these items to my home address and make the video myself, the items itself are cheap and to make the video should not be too hard

The videos are not too hard to create but the problem is products count. If there are too many products on your store, then you'll burn out pretty soon. Nowadays many of the aliexpress sellers already have videos for their products. So try to get the videos from aliexpress or outsource (only if there are too many products in your store) to freelancers.

And test the VSL product page with simple images (less images - more images) product page, don't make assumptions. Good Luck.
