Facebook no reach
Hey guys,
12 hours ago I created a new campaign for engagement (page likes), and since then I got no reach, likes or any activity whatsoever.
The Ad is approved, and everything is Active.
Any suggestions on what this might be?
Thanks.Attachment 19784

Low bid? Small audience? Weak account? You run BH? You cloak? You set the date at today when in ad manager (if yesterday all will be at zero)?

Give us more info - sometimes it takes 24 hours to deliver traffic
Prepaid or CC too?

10€ daily bid, broad audience, fresh account (had other fresh accounts in the past and got no problem getting traffic). Paying with Online banking.

Yeah it happens, what geo is the account from? And your campaign is targeting a geo outside of that?

That is not a valid way to think ofcourse when it comes to Facebook, it worked and the past so it should work now too. Thereby a fresh account doesn't say much, I mean has it been warmed up correctly? Different ip's/fingerprints/payment methods/ strong friend network/ daily activity? What telesto saying is possible reason too for sure!

Almost 24h later and still no reach. My FB account is 9 yrs old, 1.700 friends, used practically daily. My geo is in Europe and my targeting targets multiple geos including mine. The campaign is active and did changes in targeting, budget, geos, and still no difference. Murphy's law in action. Thanks yall for the reply.

Check the city of your IP, then add the city to the location targeting. It was a hint from Maynzie - it works

You can also get in touch with FB chat support and ask them what is wrong. Alternatively, try relaunching the same campaign and see if it gets traffic instead of just waiting. FB is buggy sometimes too so test everything that you can.

I wouldn't have a clue man tbh lol, I'm not really technical or understand the inner sanctum of the blue beast. Perhaps something to do with the risk scale, maybe they identify the account is local business or something. We simply target a small city in the accounts geo (<10,000) when they're throttled and they will spend. It was a hint from inside the four walls... works for most people

Let's call it a "soft verification" from Facebook side, but does makes sense somehow yes!

I ran ads for my Shopify store. My first campaign was to gather likes for my FB page so that it will look more professional. The AD was accepted, and everything about it from Image to Copy was clean and to Facebook's standards. Anyway, my account is not gone and need a new way to get traffic. Will one be at a disadvantage if he doesn't bring traffic via Facebook and does it with Pinterest, Google Adwords, Instagram?

Ah you should be fine, its just the fresh account thats bugging you lol, needs to be like couple weeks old minimum with some friends and activity on it and a fanpage, then first ad you submit on the account just boost a fanpage post for $10 spend and it should get active.
Checkpoints can occur from a range of things though, including how you access the accounts and stuff. You don't have a personal FB account thats aged?

If your store is related to women, try pinterest ads. I don't think there is any disadvantage of traffic source.

My store sells general stuff. Guys, how does one farm a facebook account? Adding people at random? Liking posts at random online?

Why don't you try buying some aged fb accounts first?

No and no, lol. Farming takes a lot of effort, software-wise but also the daily activity needs to be trustworthy and feel natural.

Buying an aged FB account sounds like a good idea. Found a source for such services: http://likepusher.com/
Are there any other websites where you can buy said accounts? Looking for a legit way of transaction cause getting my CC locked is not the plan. Meanwhile, I will try Google AdWords and Pinterest. Is Google AdWords a good traffic source for ecom or does it bring trash traffic? As a total noob learning ecom and Facebook from the very start kind of got me that tunnel vision and now I'm stuck in a spiral of Facebook & Shopify or Die sort of thing lol. Thanks yall for the advice.

Even with aged accounts, including those exact ones, will still definitely require the right know how - and a bit of luck

(not every account will still act the right way!) to get them running - I would still be hesitant to build a WH business model on them :S
So you're gonna be running clean ecom on the accounts? If so get a personal account - go through the check blocks with your ID/Photo uploads etc and then in the tiny window of opportunity daily get in touch with the FB support team in the chat you should eventually get running if its clean ecom business man.

Try not to jump to new traffic sources once you feel like it's not going to work. Facebook is a very good source for e-comm, once your store is good and products are appealling. Ofcourse Adwords is another option will bring in good quality traffic. Try to explote traffic sources thoroughly and go in-depth, both have so much potential for e-comm!
