Hi all,
I have been creating my own program, and I know that before I can get any good affiliates to join, I would need to make sure that my landing/sales page is suitable for great affiliates.
I have built this sales page, and although it's large and a little slow to load (because of the size and the videos), I think it still loads pretty quickly. I am using a CDN and it is hosted on Kinsta.
So, if you could give me your honest opinions on the page, I would be truly grateful. My goal is to convert as much as possible, and I know you're all the experts in this domain. Any feedback (my feelings dont get hurt very easily) would be greatly appreciated.
The domain is: https://ownyourlifeacademy.com
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
don't have enough time to read all the text right now, since the page is very long ... but let me give you a few thoughts anyways ...
- the whole design is a bit too BIG for my liking, I'm on a 24 screen now and it's simply to big, the images, the fonts ... this way, there is limited information visible on "one" screen and I have to scroll a lot. And generally, it feels to much into my face so to speak.
- there are small graphics problems ... I would recrop this image :
![]()
this one could be in higher quality too :

- fonts ... I see several fonts being used for the headlines, I'd unify them.
- some design issues ... some titles/headlines are hard to read ... this one for example :

I don't think it's bad though, but it could be improved for sure ... will take a look at the copy later on.
It's definitely slow to load, not good as you'll want to collect data from mobile traffic before you launch ads to it for desktop.
You could do way better using a VPS like Vultr, Digital Ocean, or Wasabi. You'll pay a fraction of the cost of hosting with Kinsta, and your load times will be way better. Not to mention you can host as many domains and WP installs as you want for same price.
Matuloo is totally on spot with the image and font comments.
Definitely would unify the fonts, you've got way too many different font families in that page.
If photoshop isn't your thing, Fiverr's got people to do what you need for like $5/photo.
The LP layout/design doesn't feel congruent. You'll be better off hiring a good LP designer off of Fiverr to redesign the page and put it into WP for you.
Good ones range from $75 to $150. Find a LP designer that's familiar with your Elementor plugin, that'll make it easy for you to make minor changes after the designer hands it off to you.
You've already got your GTM and FB setup.
Make sure you've got tags for the various sections and CTAs for your page, run some traffic, and find out where you're losing people.
Until the traffic starts, everything we tell you could be just a lot of hot air.
matuloo is on spot.

Nice changes after suggestions, Good Luck!

I'm going to be blunt - from a design point of view this page is an absolute monstrosity, sorry. It is disorganised, has no clear structure and direction, no visual hierarchy, the typography and layout are inconsistent and so are the colours. All of the images look far from being trustworthy - if you were a potential customer would you trust this page and convert? I'd close it after a few seconds.
Copy-wise it's not that good either - it's all over the place. Vague headlines and the copy doesn't flow well. It doesn't get me hyped up to pull out the CC and it doesn't really try to close the sale either. Your biggest selling point are the testimonials and that's about it. A lot of redundant sections too:
Thanks for the replies. I will work on the minor tweaks, but I will also try to re-create a fresh page to give a different and more congruent look and feel.
To your point, Shishev, I had modeled this after a landing page that I thought was quite killer. https://londonreal.tv/m/biz-enroll/
My partner and I are trying to create a course aimed at the MMO space, but with easy to digest and follow modules with everything someone might need to know. We have both been in the Agency and consulting space for a while, and we have both purchased thousands of dollars of programs, and most of them are garbage. The reason I liked the above landing/sales page was because I thought it was so over the top for a $47 per month product that it would be sure to convert.
My ultimate goal after launch is to get the numbers and try to get it to a good affiliate network (not clickbank). I would like to see if there is anyone else who would want to push the product. (Side note, is 40% commission ongoing a good payout to offer?)
I will try to get the page a lot cleaner, more congruent, and less fluffy. I will work on the copy to be a lot more impactful.
Thank you all for your feedback. It has helped a lot. If you have any more, give it to me with both barrels. I welcome it!
So many on-point comments!
Shishev especially is a very talented designer and copywriter - follow his advice and you can't go far wrong!
In addition to everything that's been said above:
I would suggest to put in more calls to action along the way (just maybe not too early-on, before visitors are pre-sold adequately).
Also: Creating several versions where sections are ordered differently, or versions that contain different subsets of sections, and doing a split-test would be essential.
Using a heat-map service of some sort to see where you're losing the most customers, so that you can improvement on that particular section of the lander, can also help.
Best of luck!
Amy
EDIT: It may also be good to test just having the video on a page by itself for fast-and-easy loading and to eliminate distractions for the visitor. You can put all the other sections on a separate page, and the link to that page can appear under the video ONLY after the visitor has been "forced" to watched the most crucial part of the video.
Again, tracking which points in the video are the biggest drop-off points and improving on that can make a big difference. I've seen VSLs result in amazing conversion rates, but you'd need to make sure it's so captivating that the visitor will sit through it long enough.
You want to create the whole setup in such a way, that only the RIGHT sorts of people would sit through the video long enough for the link to appear. There's a fine line between making people impatient and leaving, and preselling the right sorts of visitors adequately to drive them to sign up after watching the video.
If you set things up so that people that are impatient and leave, would never have signed up anyway, then you'll have succeeded.
Hope that helps!
