How to use FB Ads to promote flight claims

Hello everyone,

I wanted to let everyone know about a trick our affiliates have been using in the flight claims niche to generate leads via Facebook.

Anyone can be affected by a flight delay at any time, so we've found that lookalike audiences don't really help. What we've found is that frequent flyers and holidaymakers are those most likely to have successful claims. So we've had success targeting people who have liked or expressed an interest in the budget EU airlines like EasyJet, Jet2, TUI and Thomas Cook. Also, long haul flights lead to bigger payouts for the flight claims firms, so targeting the longer haul airlines like BA and Virgin Atlantic makes sure that the quality of the leads is high enough to demand a premium price.

If anyone would like any more info about how to promote this, please send me a message.

Feel free to post a more detailed guide ... ad samples, landing pages (if any), stats screens ... the more the better. We all love case studies and campaign guides!

If you could potentially supply some leadgen rates and conversion metrics you see for these offers would be awesome to see, I've personally never looked into this niche and I think there is some good campaigns for it!

Hi maynzie, the CPL for flight claims is £18 with an average returns rate of around 20%, this is mainly for leads which don’t qualify due to being non-EU-jurisdiction.

I can’t give out conversion metrics as our affiliates all have different landing pages with varying conversion rates.

It’s a very profitable niche at this time of year, so please get in touch if you’d like to try it and I can add you on Skype

Thanks

What Amy and Matej mean is this is a forum where people share, contribute and learn stuff about AM. Some more insights would add more value to your topic and to the community. Ofcourse it's your right to attract people by teasing and not share too much. But I can tell on the long term you will gain trust/goodwill towards members which will result in more business....

Also by adding some examples, previews and cases, without going into detail too much, you can trigger people and their creativity to dive in to this niche while they otherwise might skip it or not feel attracted to.

Thanks for the advice, will definitely take it on board.

Unfortunately we don’t generally get given conversion stats by our affiliates, they like to keep things as confidential as possible for obvious reasons!

But we do know that we’re paying out over £30k/month to several of them and still not hitting quotas, since January, so we know that it’s working well for them (even if we don’t know ‘how’ well)

Happy to answer any other questions people have about this niche. Or if anyone wants to contact me privately on Skype etc for specific sign up instructions that’s fine too.

Thanks
