Doorway pages ( spamdexing ) - content scraper
Hello, im start building doorway pages, but the last thing I need is content scraper. The last possible choice is to find someone who will write custom scraper for me, but I believe I will find some tool that will help me. I tested some softwares, but without success. The idea is to put keyword list to scraper, give him proxy, and let them scrape text from websites.
Any ideas? Thank you

It's scrapebox (a nice tool). You can scrape many things with this tool.

I was asking because I see a lot of guys doing doorway with scraped content, and cant believe all of them made custom scripts.

I used to make good money doing this 10+ years back, then stopped when google got smarter. Surprised to see that this still works...
(Are you sure this approach still works? Would be good to verify before spending additional time pursuing this, if possible.)

Used to do this also in the past, mashup like sites/catalogs.
But Panda killed them back in the days.
Maybe it can work here and there, but definitely not a long term strategy, or where I would recommend to focus energy these days.

From a lot doorways that i find on serp from my niche a lot of them had same footprints, so it look like they scale it on multiple domains. They arent ranking high, but on some longtails is on very good spot, and is there for such a long time.
Believe doorway still work, but the key is generate masive amount of good content. And that maybe need custom private tool.

That makes sense thanks!
So basically the content will need to be good enough to fool google into believing that it's quality content.
I just did a search - and found the
GSA Content Generator. It does both scraping AND spinning. Have you tried this yet? Haven't used this myself, but have used other GSA products in the past with success so can vouch for the company's attention to product quality. May be worth a shot!
Also:
Consider using content that google doesn't have access to, such as FB content. Disclaimer: I'm pretty sure it's technically illegal (or at least against FB's policies) to scrape FB content and post it on the www for all to access, so proceed at your own risk. There are scrapers available that can do this - just do a search in google.
Another source of unique content that mostly isn't indexed in google yet, is magazine content (or pretty much any other content that's published in written format). If you can get your hands on a bunch of outdated magazines (which I'd imagine can be gotten for cheap, maybe even sold by weight), get someone to scan them, then use OCR software to convert them into words, that can be a never-ending source of unique content. Disclaimer: We at STM do not encourage copyright infringement practices, so again, proceed at your own peril. (But if you manage to find old magazines from before 1977, then the content is probably in the public domain and you can likely just use that without infringing on copyright. But please consult with a lawyer to verify this, because I'm not 100% sure about the legality.)
The only drawback of using magazine content is it probably won't contain the exact long-tail keywords you're wanting to target. But if you can find magazines that cater to a specific niche, get the content into electronic form, then inject the desired keywords into them using an article spinner or rewriter, then you may have something.
Best of luck!

It's spamdexing! It's a BH SEO tactic.
