Hey guys, I'm brand new to STM.
I've been reading about affiliate marketing for the past couple of weeks.
I have decided to go with Maxbounty and Facebook ads but I don't know if it works well.
I want to promote this offer:
Do you guys think this is a good offer?
I know I should promote to other GEOs like India but I just can't find a good offer on Maxbounty.
What do you guys recommend?
Do I stick to facebook? Do I chose another offer? Do I sign up for another affiliate market?

I wouldn't recommend to start with Facebook.
You can make good money on Facebook, it has great targeting options and enough volume to scale.
But you will also have to fight with account bans, getting new accounts, getting new credit cards, competition.
In my opinion there are better traffic types to start with.
Also the offer you chose is for USA, it's the Geo with highest competition so it's also better to start with an easier Geo.
Apart from that, why did you choose the offer?
Was it recommended or did you just blindly pick it?
About signing up for another affiliate network, Maxbounty also has good offers, in the end it depends on what you want to run.

As twinaxe said, POPs are a good starting point for newbies to learn the ropes ... cheap visits, low regulations, enough volume in many GEOs ... that's why we usually recommend the newbies to start there. It's simply the cheapest way of learning the basics of AM. But POPs require different offers ... must be broad appeal, as there is not much targeting available ... so sweeps are a good pick for example.
If you wanna stick with the current offer, you will need better targeting, so you would have to focus on FB or adwords, maybe native ... not sure about how much the offer would be with the guidelines of FB for example, so you might face the account problems twinaxe mentioned.

Maybe try for the beginning at least something like a Dating or Sweepstakes with SOI conversion flow? These type of offers usually work on very specific traffic types. Maxbounty also has Dating SOI offers you can take and run on most big networks on Push,Banner or pop. It would just give you some decent amount of experience and handle the optimization on a daily basis. Give you some good insights into the Affiliate marketing
