I have just started a native campaign and decided that it would be good to have a follow along of the journey, and get insights from the experts here in STM. I had some good success in the past with POPs and have taken both the 6WAMC and the Native Masterclass.
The goal right now is to get to $500 of profit/day in the next 30 days with the niche that I'm focusing on - Casino/Gambling in the Netherlands geo. I'm only (primarily) running MGID (both directly and through

Number of Offers: 1 with 6 different sign up pages
Offer type: CPL (pays $15 for sign up)
Number of LPs: 3 (1 in english, 2 in Dutch)
Number of Creatives: 12 (with single angle)
I am currently working on another angle and will launch it as a separate campaign with diff creatives and LPs to have the consistent flow and user experience.
Anyone who has previously done casino/gambling has any tips to share when it comes to running them on native?
Day 2 results:
Total Revenue: $30.34
Total Spent: $19.19
Profit: 11.15
CTR: 19.59%

Both the conversions came from 2 different widgets. I have now added one more landing page (one of the LPs which worked excellent for me in the past with the casino niche).
However, today - it's 1.20PM here in San Francisco - things don't look that great. and it has spent $14.89 without any single conversion - but let's see.
I will increase the daily budget so that it spends more. My campaigns from MGID just got approved and have started spending a bit. I'll post an update near the end of the day.

By the way, i ran casino CPL on Mgid last year and encountered a lot of quality issues although not in Netherlands.
(Mgid's traffic quality in general isn't considered the best as most of your ads are mostly displayed on free streaming, download sites ect...)
Hopefully would not be the case for you, but i would stay in touch closely with the advertiser/network to avoid quality issues...

And appreciate you mentioning about the quality issues you had earlier. I'll check with the advertiser - the min DR they require is 10%. I'll check with him in a few days asking about the quality before continuing further with the same campaign.
Regarding your camps, did you later moved your camps to other traffic sources too - Outbrain/Taboola/RC, and found better results?

So I have been collecting data for the past week with little modifications and experimentation with bids. It still appears that I should be spending more to get data worth optimizing. And one of the things that stands out is that higher bids tend to work well with this campaign. Both the profitable days - Day 2 and Day 8 were when I bid higher (same high bid on both days).

A quick update since I didn't get a chance to update this thread over the past couple of days. I additionally launched some BitCoin campaigns which showed some promise but slowly started to decline. I was running all of my camps on MGID (via
I'm now setting up camps on Content.Ad, RC and MGID for the camps. Will be posting updates here shortly.
I feel bad for not updating this lately. So what happened over the past couple of days was as mentioned,
Things have started to look good now. I had a $300+ profit day yesterday (both of the camps I'm running were profitable) and today looks strong with already 1 lead with $5 spend (no FTD though - so $0 conversion value). I'm hopeful of getting more leads today and based on the statistics from the aff network of Leads => FTD (10%) - should be getting a conversion today. But again, it's just based on short amount of data.
I'm trying to learn the traffic sources more and bidding strategies. Also experimenting with both BlackList campaign and WL (from the widget templates) in RevContent. There's a lot to learn yet. I'll post the numbers here in a day or two once I have some good data and not 1 off conversions.
Interesting thread, subscribing. 300 profit sounds really good - i don't understand what exactly you did :-) You moved from Mgid to RevContent and you don't run casino offers but "bitcoin" offers = some binary options/CFD, right?
First thing I'd say is to just relax man 
Take it all 1 step at a time.
To help speed things up, the blacklist campaigns aren't what they used to be on Revcontent anymore. I'd only focus on a blacklist if i'm already looking to SCALE my campaign.
If i were you i'd start more with a whitelist OR run a brand campaign (much better placements for beginning) then once funnel is a optimized into profits you can scale with a blacklist.
