Crak Revenue Smartlink or targeted campaign

Just started my first adult campaign yesterday. No sales so I am about to quit :-)

I am using Crak Revenue. My aff manager said to use their smartlink for the landing page because it shows the "most likely" to convert for the given end user / country.

When I look at my stats from yesterday there were of course clicks to about a dozen offers (it shows which offer they actually landed on).

So... Is my aff manager correct? I know this could be a good way to test out a bunch of different offers with just one link. Or should I pick a couple of offers and test it thoroughly?

BTW - kind of a different topic and more of a rant about Crak. They offer almost zero guidance on offer selection. I am going to assume it is because I have not done much revenue with them. Yes, they are the only adult network I am currently signed up with. I also do non-adult with Maxbounty. Maxbounty will at least show you the EPC for their offers to give you an idea of what is working and what is not working. Not sure why Crak does not provide this on their interface.

Thanks..

Not specifically about Crak revenue but I would always run single offers and not Smartlinks.
That way you know what payout you will receive and what you promote and can build your campaign better around it.

Smartlinks for dating are not the best idea ... you need to finetune the funnel, so the ads/Lps/offers work well together. Smartlink works with mixed data, so it can never be as effective as a finetuned campaign.

I tried crak in the past, but back in the day they didnt even support postbacks so I passed and moved to more media-buying focused networks, not sure how much they have changed since, so hard to comment.

As for the AMs being helpful or not, it's indeed a time-game, they only have so much time as the day allows ... so naturally, they try to allocate it to those affiliates that do bring solid revenue. They shouldn't be ignorant though, if you feel being ignored, signup with more networks, there is a lot of them.

It's gonna take way more than 1 campaign, dating is pretty competitive so you need to run a lot of tests.

I provide support to most people here on STM who are into dating, so check the adult section on the forum, you can start with this thread : https://stmforum.com/forum/showthrea...here-you-start! all info in there is pretty much still accurate, just ignore the part about PIN submits (carrier billing), that party is almost over

Cheers,
Matej.

"dating is pretty competitive"

I know I am new to the forum and I appreciate your advice - but aren't they all pretty competitive these days?

Yes if there is money to be made in the vertical it will be competitive.

So I guess just pick one and go for it.

I work with them and I have the coolest aff manager, fucking genius, if you want me I can hook you up with them and he will help u.
From my exp. Maxbounty are crap, the only reason u dont see ecpc on crak is cause they have a lot of affiliates and most of them crap so they dont want to show you crap statistics.
I am making shit a lot of money with them with push and IG.

Just saw this, but yeah in general you're not going to get much attention from your network unless you are doing some decent revenue. However if you do drop them an email/message asking which offers are hot, they usually will at least point you in the right direction with regards to their top performers.

However beyond that, if you're not doing decent revenue with them I wouldn't expect much more.

True, as jabong82 said, where there is money to be made, there will be competition
