The best affiliate network solution

Hi there,

what software/solution would you recommend for setting up your own affiliate network?

So far I've come across Hasoffer and Postaffiliatepro.

What other options are there, and what would be the best?

To start off we'll be having less than 50 offers on the platform.

Thanks

I would say that a slight majority of public networks are using CAKE, check it out too.

I used hasoffers for about a year and to me it is really not the ideal solution.

I prefer cake but it is harder for new networks due to higher costs.

I'm an affiliate and don't have experience using affiliate network software, but AFAIK, CAKE and HASOFFERS are the 2 most commonly used software.

Many aff networks have their own proprietary software that they developed in-house as well.

Affpaying.com lists lots of aff networks along with the tracking software each uses. You'll find more of these software by googling the site:

A self-built tracking solution would be quite costly because of the tech team that's required during the setup, but also for the maintenance afterwards. Also you would probably run into quite some issues in the beginning which is not ideal if you're just starting out.

It would be good if you have an idea of how many clicks you're expecting so you can calculate the costs per tracker for now and the development of the costs when you start growing.
Cake is indeed quite costly if you send a lot of clicks.
I know a lot of networks/advertisers use Affise. From what I hear it gets the job done and they don't charge for clicks.

Something to consider though is that it won't be easy to switch trackers once you have a lot of offers live and campaigns running.

Most networks are using Cake but for a small startup it is an expensive option, they have a cheaper version called Cupcake but it lacks a lot of the in depth information that Cake has. HasOffers is much cheaper, I would recommend HO for testing to see if your network is viable before investing in higher recurring cost like Cake

HasOffers is the best option to start with. Less complicated and expensive than CAKE. When you start growing it'll make sense to move to CAKE.

Yeah, thanks to the pricing model "pay-per-conversion" Affise really stands out.
It's a very solid platform with in-depth analytics. I wouldn't worry about the process of switching trackers. Right now Affise has a tool, CPAPI, that automates the process of pulling all offers and campaign data. Through it you can connect to your current tracker and pull all the date to Affise platform. It won't take a lot of time. So you shouldn't be scared away by the need to pull the data.
