How much would you pay for this mailing service

So,

I friend of mine has been running bulletproof mailing servers in India with sending capacity at millions emails per day. Now he is looking for adding another business model.

So, the offer would be something like: You name the country you want to shoot emails and just give your email and we send out 500k emails for you in next 24 hours.

You don't have to setup any campaign, no IPs, no domain changes, nothing. You don't even have to provide any email list either. We have ample data and lists. The only thing we'd request is, if possible, just give us the hard bounces you have ever had and we remove them from our data too.

The delivery rate and inbox rate are pretty good as I have tested them myself too. What do you think you can pay for sending 500k emails to someone in a day and of course, not having to give any of your data either.

Thanks

So if I understand this correctly, your "friend" is providing solo ad email service. You did say all needs to be provided is "email". I assume the ad copy. Your "friend" would then mail it out to his list using his infrastructure and data. Personally, for me this would have been good if it was targeted "niche" data. However, sending to millions per day using "bullet proof" in 2018 doesn't make much sense to me.

It reminds me of the $99 20 million CD rom I used to sell back in 1998-2000 and the "solo ad" mails for $800-$2000 back then.
In those wild west days, it was so easy to inbox because there weren't any: filters, ip reputation, domain repuation, dmarc,
rate limits, bayesian filters, ASN reputation, content filters, relevance filters, cloudmark, spamhaus, and 100+ other filters that normal email goes through nowadays. I remember having bullet proof accounts in china for $1000 back then. Well worth it.

Also, if the data is well maintained, why would he ask for the hard bounces? Isn't that provided by the MTA during mailings. While the soft bounces are sent back to the return-path?

Nowadays, I would probably ask for a small test given the option and maybe $100 is the most i'd pay.
Then again, IMHO and experience, sending to a targeted niche with relevant content is probably gonna out perform it nowadays.
Email marketing is as powerful as it was decades ago. Just need to do it according to today's standard and technology.

The size of a mailing list is only one piece of the puzzle that paints the whole picture.

Other important pieces of information are:

-How were the emails collected?

-Is the list segmented by demographic? (At least by age and gender. If by interest and behavior then even more valuable.)

-How recent is the list? Has anyone been nurturing the subscribers? If so, using what content?

Answers to these questions will directly dictate what types of offers and products can be pushed, and how well they will convert - which in turn will determine how much your friend can justify charging.
