How do you know if your lander is corrupt? (5)

How do you know if your lander is corrupt?

We all know that when ripping landers sometimes there is a malicious script that siphons traffic off to another site.

I guess how can we see if our lander is impacted by this?

Is just refreshing the page a bunch of times until it redirects somewhere enough?

Or is there something I should be looking for?

When I’m cleaning a ripped lander, I remove all JS scripts, load jQuery library from Google or use my own and double-check all html links and links thats are combined with JS.

Also, when I’m launching a camp with new lander, I’m checking CTR frequently.

Hope this helps.

Wouls love to hear any other innovative method other marketers are using in this case.

Cheers,

The below thread covers up most of the stuff you need to check on ripped landers.

Besides refreshing your landers and waiting to see if it redirects somewhere else, I'd have a close look on network tab using DevTools in Chrome or Firefox. Network logs will tell you if there are any foreign links or redirects still present in your ripped lander.

I rely on my coder to make sure it's all ok, any decent coder should be able to spot an unwanted piece of code in the LP.

But simple refreshing, or analyzing the redirect chain with some tool should do the trick indeed.

Thanks platinum for linking to the thread!

jabong82: The last section of that post, "5)Check for Sneaky Redirects", should help.
