Browser targeting on Dating
How do you guys target in terms of browsers?
On Trafficstars I currently only select mobile browsers on mobile camps and the standard versions on Desktop camps.
However, I ran some traffic via Advertizer.com and I noticed that on mobile camps I was getting conversions from the normal Chrome browsers.
So my question is.. Do you target all browsers on your camps or do you just select mobile browsers on mobile and the normal ones on Desktop?

I target all of them, then analyze the data and if I see some browser absolutely failing ... then I look into pausing it, if possible.
But in most cases, if I see a browser performing really poor, it's tied to a poor quality placement or BOT traffic. In waste majority of our dating campaigns, we target all browsers.

Thanks for your reply.
With all browsers you mean all browsers or just all the mobile ones for a mobile camp and all the standard ones for a desktop camp?
The reason I asked is because Trafficstars has the option to differentiate between Mobile and non Mobile versions of browsers.

In my campaigns I target all available browsers (both mobile and desktop) and then just blacklist browsers with poor performance.

I was looking at my stats over the last months and saw that Internet Explorer and Android Webkit both had an awful performance.
Is this something common or is it just me?

I just target it all, in other words, I dont touch browser targeting at all unless I really have to.

In addition to browsers, what do you do with operating systems?
Do you select all or just select a few?

OS makes sense to pay attention to more often than browsers, based on my experience. Mostly because of quite different bids on some sources, but sometimes they also perform quite different ... could be tied to bigger device variety with android. But still, I often run it as a mix too ... when it comes to targeting, I usually just split phone/tablet/desktop into separate campaigns and keep the rest as is, for the initial round of testing.
Still talking about dating (SOI/DOI) here, with other verticals it can be different.

Same here, firefox mobile has bad results as well for me. Blocked in most of my campaigns.

Firefox Mobile has been doing OK for my camps but Android Webkit and Internet Explorer Mobile have been really bad, anyone knows why this is?
