FB ShowPages (Watch) For $xxx,xxx Shopify (21)

Hey Everyone,

This will be my first post here! I joined yesterday and wanted to contribute.

I apologise if it's a long read, but I think its a very valuable insight into Facebook & Showpages.

Some people dont read long posts, unless it's about big results. So I'll mention our results:

(ZERO FB AD SPEND) Shopify:

Our team saw 300,000$ days. Average was 100,000$ a day. 100million video views, CVR of 2-3%

This was all organic traffic. No paid methods involved, It only requires networking.

I'm not a newbie when it comes to Facebook Marketing, in fact I've been working on that platform for a very long time.

Lately, I've been involved heavily in the world of FB Showpages, In-Stream Ads & Shopify. I've learn't how to utilise these to generate 6 figures daily.

IT STARTED WHEN:
I was originally drafted in to build Shopify several stores for some of the largest FB Pages, I then ended up managing the whole process.

Here's what I learnt:

⚡️ FB ShowPages: you may have seen these types of pages before, they look different, feature: episodes.. and were primarily intended for TV & News.

-> These pages have outstanding organic reach! The reach is magnified compared to the average page.

ShowPages were and still are intended for a different use..

However, through favoritism and personal connections with staff inside Facebook, a few large viral video based pages, were able to create ShowPages. Including us.

We were in fact, able to gain access to a portal that allows us to create ShowPages whenever we want.

Most people have shared our videos, and we've seen 100million views on more than 3 product videos. This translates into small fortunes for everyone involved.

So the plan was fairly simple:

1. Get hold of a showpage, we used our portal, others buy these type of pages.

2. Leverage other pages to share our videos, S4S strategy. There's a few Telegram groups, however the biggest ones are actually FB chats.

I'm in a Facebook chat groups with Paul Logan, Julius Dean, Amanda Cerny, 50cent, Ludacris etc.
(Paying them or doing a share 4 share, instantly gives us 100k fans+)

3. So we've got a showpage with 100,000+ followers.

SHOPIFY TIME.

It;'s now time to create videos. We have an in-house team of video creators, but I've seen people rip other videos from YouTube do the same thing.

But we need a Shopify set up first.

It's all Shopify in this Industry, so were using the plugin Oberlo to source products from Aliexpress.

I built the stores, and I'll share the plugins we used later. We did have a lot of social proof. Lots of reviews imported from Ali, trust badges etc. countdowns for scarcity etc.

SOURCING VIRAL PRODUCTS:

This is funny, because most videos people watch about sourcing Ali products on YouTube will mention us, and the products we use. They tell people to go copy us.

We actually used Oberlo & One of the suppliers for Walmart. So we were able to get products other people couldn't source.

I recommend staying away from spyware for Shopify products as they list products that have already been sold a lot by big sites.

Try using Spiderfrog to crawl a competitors Shopify site and see what products they've added recently.

VIDEOS:

Showpages amplify your video reach. So create videos based on your product. Search the product on YouTube and cut clips and add them with catchy music. Make sure to add a CTA in the description and the end of the video.
(GET IT HERE, BUY IT NOW etc)

-> Use custom domain for your Shopify site and link to the product without bitly. Add's more trust. FB prefers this.

SHARING ON FB:

At this stage, we've got a decent following from S4S (You could also do Ads) etc

We now want to publish the video about the product on our ShowPage, In the description, keep it short and make sure the link is on the second line. This is because when people share the video on mobile, the link can get hidden below the fold.

Ask people to share or tag their friend etc..

If it's working, and the product is selling, you can pay other pages to share the video. This just become an insane ball that's rolling and rolling, picking up more and more sales.

EDIT: I know FB is becoming stricter on sharing videos throughout networks. So don't share them all at once, spread it out.

We got to point where we would share it so hard, get 50-100million views and then expect it to get taken down, but collect $60-100k

Rinse and repeat.

Been intrigued by showpages for a while! I have seen some affiliates abuse them, and tried to go through process myself also.
Got rejected, but got few ideas how Im gonna try again.

Were you doing the insta mention method also? I can imagine something like this would have integrated really well with your strategy. Especially since you had ability to create a lot of different showpages (each showpage=verified insta . Or at least should be super easy to get it that way in theory) .

Im sure you are gonna get a crap ton of questions from this post, so good luck with that.

Problem with showpages, is they can get taken down fast! But with a rep involved .. Extends the life of the page, enough to make plenty more $ than running ads.

Any chance you can give STM members access to those Showpages and groups? From what I know only a small group in the US have access to it now right?

Facebook is lying to you about that, It's not about the US, It's about who knows who at FB. With the exception to maybe India.

I can assure you that FB is so fucked. They go on about "Russian ad campaigns" When I've spoken to and know for a fact that there are Russians who have access to FB's Advertising backend. They sell Ad codes worth 10,000$ - 100,000$ And can provide access to showpages, manipulate video views on pages, enable ad-breaks etc.

At this time, I can't start offering Showpages to everyone.
It would be a quick way to get it removed. I've never revealed this to anyone.

However, there are sites you can purchase Showpages from. S W A P D

Showpages is linked to Business Manager.
If the foundation of the Showpage is bad, ie: any of their pages attached to Biz Manager gets removed, it'll pull the Showpages too.

I rather not buy pages, there is a reason people selling them for sure (mostly because engagment sucks and monetizing will be difficult with 50% fans from the Philipines ;-)

Interesting timing indeed This is going to open the floodgates...
Last time they did this, they ruined FB Instant Articles (I was doing $22k a month) Then the system was spammed by Tier 2-3 countries and ecpms plummeted.

Yes I can see how it will be easier to get approved now as well (or am I just hoping for this)? Saw your earlier comment about workarounds to get such a page. Is there anymore info you can share on what type of existing pages have highest success of getting approved for example?

If you have a page over 10,000 likes, 30,000 one minute views. You should be able to get Ad breaks.
As for Watch pages. It still looks closed off for most people...

It's not so much about what type of existing pages you have, but more about who you know inside Facebook. Everyone who has ever been approved by FB to have ShowPages / Watch, would have had a rep OR Media Partner.

I would suggest looking for a FB Media Partner in your country. They will then allow you to have access to tools and services, not available to others

Thank you very much buddy! 20-30 people sit in these chats. There's 3-4 admins who bring in people as soon as they find out how many fans you have.
I don't think anyone from the group is here so I can mention it, it's called FB King & Queens, FB VIP's

I don't see how they would approve people without knowing:

1. How much money you make from Facebook or Instagram
2. What Influence you have.
3. How many fans you have.

I got in because I'm well known in FB circles for Instant Articles. (FB's attempt at Google AMP Pages)
