Question - https vs http tracking URLs
Hey guys,
So since Google announced last month that Chrome will be giving visitors warnings when visiting non SSL secure sites, I've been seeing a lot of recommendations to make tracking domains SSL secure in order to avoid decrease in campaign performance.
I have since made all of my tracking domains SSL secure, and have applied it to most of my campaigns, but not all.
I have recently compared chrome traffic performance across campaigns using ssl secure tracking domains against campaigns which are using non SSL secure tracking domains and honestly didn't find that much of a difference in terms of performance. (I am running decent volumes, and feeling confident that i have enough conversion data to make a judgment)
I am now just curious if any of you think that making tracking domains SSL secure is all that important? Or is it something that can be skipped completely without any consequence?
Edit - I am referring specifically to tracking domains, not domains hosting landers ect...

I have similar experience, running both http and https at the moment too, without much difference between the two ... in some cases http works even better. Not sure what conclusion to draw from this ...
