Wanted to share a weird pattern on the facebook ad approval process, to see if anyone is getting the same thing.
I'm setting up my campaigns this way: For every image that I think or that I know it will yield a good CTR (generally risky), I upload 4~5 more in the same campaign that are somewhat related but are 100% sure to be approved. I vary between 3 and 4 copies of the same ad, and change the bids of almost every ad by some pennies, so that I'm sure it looks random and non-automated (which it is).
The thing is, the last batch of ads that I submitted, facebook disapproved 1 copy of each image, but let the remaining 2~3 (which are exactly the same ad) got through... So far so good, I managed to get all my risky images approved.
Next batch I used the same technique, but then something totally differentent happened: The first half of the images got approved (and that included the risky ads yay!), but the second half got all disapproved (and it contained really safe images that were approved several times and were similar to the ones from the same campaign that actualy got approved).
This behavior doesn't seem to be 100% human, because it makes no sense at all to me... I'll test this more out before drawing any conclusions, but I'm already posting here to see if anybody saw something similar.
It really depends on the person that reviews it. Sometimes all my ads get approved, some none.
