Hi guys.
So i have these ebooks that i wrote many years ago under a pen name and sell it online. My affiliate marketing business is not going very well lately and i'm think about selling these ebooks with all the resell rights.
Fist ebook i sell on Gumroad. And YTD sales so far is close to $3,000. I don't spend anything on advertising. The is a 20 minute video sales letter on youtube i created with goanimate, it gets views and basically promotes the ebook by itself.
There is also a second ebook, under the same pen name, that i sell on amazon. So far year to date it made $870 in payments. There is also zero advertising involved. There is also video on youtube that i made with goanimate that promotes the ebook.
If anyone have an experience selling something like that, first question - how complicated is the process? Where do i go to sell it and most importantly, how much should i ask?
Thanks.
Hey,
You said AM is not going well and you think about selling this project.
First thought I got, why to not keep it as it's generating you money on autopilot?
Why not invest some more efforts , so it could generate even more?
Create couple of more videos on YT, and do some more promotions.
Anyway..
If you are in need of cash and insist on sale I would probably checkout places like EmpireFlippers or Flippa.
Maybe create a small landing page that presents your books.
Web projects usually go for profit multipliers, it could go between 12x month returns up to 24, 36 months returns probably.
Depends how stable it is and what are the expectations.

Pricing something like that is always very difficult. Depends on the industry, whether your business/product is growing or not, whether it *can* grow or not, if it has some synergy with other businesses in the space, etc.
EmpireFlippers and Flippa are definitely the 2 most common options so just start from there, like Eirk said
