Hi guys,
I own a mortgage loan website with the FB Pixel in place.
The most important landingpage (containing a loan calculater) received in the last 28 days 1227 individual users from high quality search traffic. In Facebook there is one amount of 5593 and 1227 users. So I assume that the page had the 5593 Users, but FB recognized only 1227 Facebook users.
I built 2 custom audiences 1 for visitors of the last 180 days and 1 for the last 7 days.
- With the 7 day CA I want to build a retargeting campaign to increase conversions.
- Additionally I would like to add a campaign for Lookalikes, but here I am a bit unsure and a searching for some advices/thoughts of you.
I think the timing is important as people don´t try to get a loan every week and you can not convince them to search for it, when they don´t want to buy a property. So I am not sure if a lookalike makes sense here.
Do you know, if google builds these lookalikes only on interests/demographics or uses also Pixel-data from other websites? For example if a user was searching real estate listings on some websites last week than he likely needs a loan. But without website data I would assume that the lookalike is quite broad and does´nt take the timing issue.
Has somebody experience with a similar kind of targeting.
