New to Native - MGID - Let's Connect

Hello everyone. After two years away from affiliate marketing, I've gotten into natives, and despite my not yet seeing profits, I see great potential. Right now, I'm working with MGID in a few countries and working with nutra offers. I'm looking at moving into investment/gambling. I have a couple of campaigns set up and running and others in the pipeline.

I know there are a few native mastermind threads out there, but I'm hoping to start something small with just a few other STM members. I'm looking to make contacts with others who are pursuing similar paths with the hope of exchanging strategies and possibly sharing blacklists.

In my opinion, if you're just starting out - nutra would be a difficult vertical to start with mainly because conversion data is very expensive in that vertical.

Gambling and investing would definitely give you cheaper conversion data if you run CPL payout offers, or even CPA with multiple conversion goals

How is dating + mgid for people with low experience with Native overall?

I haven't tried dating on native, although I did spend some time researching and looking for dating offers with reasonable payouts to justify running on native.

According to my understanding - most networks/advertisers in the dating vertical are already dominating native on their own, therefore have lower demand for affiliates running dating which basically translates to low caps/low payouts...

My suggestion according to my experience is to try and gain access to a solid offer with reasonable payouts before jumping in to running dating on mgid

This... I wouldn't even bother. Most dating advertisers are direct with the native sources now. Payouts are too low for affiliates and caps are almost non-existent. You may get lucky and find a network with a decent deal and be able to pick up the crumbs... but I would focus your efforts elsewhere regarding the dating vertical.

I personally think the same concerning dating on native.

In my opinion it's not likely but definitely not impossible.
