RevContent Tracking Issue (5)

Not entirely sure.

Are you making use of the default tracking code params and have those setup as such in your tracker?

That way you need only paste your tracking campaign url, eg https://www.domain.com/go/7c29e9d1-b...a-6a085d6a93af into the ad field and the rest of the data gets added automatically.

I added my entire campaign url into revcontent with the tracking params. So I believe what's happening is revcontent is also adding tracking params onto my entire campaign url and therefore the tracking params are being added twice. Giving me 2x results for each param

When I added my link into revcontent and let revcontent append the utm tags automatically I had the issue. When I turned off revcontent utm tags and added my tracking link with the tags added manually it now works as it should.

Ok, so they automatically added more tags on top of the ones that you already had in the url or they screwed up the url while adding those. One way or another, glad that you were able to sort this.

The first time they automatically added more tags on top of the ones that I had already added, so my newbie mistake. The second time I did as thedudeabides suggested and the data that got added automatically was coming back in singles and doubles. The 3rd submission I turned off the revcontent passbacks and added my full url with the tags straight from my tracker... success.
