With the decision of circumventing Google Play store, Epic Games are effectively opening up the masses to third party app installs.

Add in to the mix that Fortnite players in general are quiet young and unfamiliar with the computer viruses, and you have a very potent target.

This is a PPI dream coming true. Can't wait to take advantage of it!

Start with Fortnite "hacks", and expand from there with everything else...

Curious how many installs they will get. Will likely be a huge number overall but relative to what they already have... I don't know.

They would clearly become no.1 on Google Play in record time.

Also:

Epic Games also confirmed that it would have done the same for the iOS version of the battle royale game, but Apple is far less lenient than Google when it comes to allowing installation of apps from third-party sources, meaning apps can only be installed through the official App Store.

This is probably one of the reasons Apple reached $1 trillion market cap. Their customer LTV must be absolutely insane... They monetize their customers in so many ways, and they (almost) never leave once they are in the mythical "Apple ecosystem".
