Heres what i mean and i hope any of you tech lords could help me.

http://Ionlylovemymoneyandmymommaims...&txid=OPTIONAL

For the "replace" are for CID to i put anything there? If so what?

And what do i put for the other 2. And what does TXID mean?

Have a good one!

Hey Jeremiah,

Nice to see you working towards that yacht trip!

...

So what you have to do is to set this postback at your affiliate network.

Better to ask your AM to set it globally (or yourself if the system allows that).

Now in cid= you have to set your {clickid} token.

Each click that happens in your tracker is assigned an unique click ID, this has to be sent to network.
So if there is a conversion network can report back to you (postback) that click ID, so your tracker will know: ahaaaa, here the conversion happened.

txid is like transaction ID, as you can see it says optional and it's really not needed in most cases so you can remove that part.

So you do something like this:

http://xyz.domain.com/postback?cid={clickid}&payout={payout}

Remember to customize it depending on your tracker and network (this one is from Voluum)

There is one place where you can make mistake, so watch out: Network has their own tokens as well. So clickid could be named #s2# or something else.

So from network side you must report back that clickid ID using their token.

And for all this to work, you must also assign the {clickid} to each offer in your tracker, so that ID is actually sent to network, otherwise they don't have ID to postback.

I know this may sounds complicated, read through it 3 times and you should hopefully get it, if no let me know

Erik

Hey erik thanks for that detailed response. I love how your saying that like almost a joke. Im dead serious about the yaght.

Seriously https://www.yachtcharterfleet.com/lu...eeky-tiger.htm

Only 10k a day LOL

And damn right im working towards it. Mostly working to get my momma and dad a good house. But next thing is the yaght trip off the coast of france for a weekend. Or the Mediterranean.

Also vortex if your seeing this your coming. i dont care how many campaigns you got going on. Were all gonna have a good time for a day or 2.

And thank you! i got the top part so for my maxbounty from my Voluum postback this is what i have http://1231414141.com/postback?cid={clickid}&payout=#RATE#

I know the rate is right. But never saw a click id token for maxbounty. If anyone else is on that network and can confirm i got it right?

And erik my friend i read it 7 times and i still have no idea what the hell you mean by "And for all this to work, you must also assign the {clickid} to each offer in your tracker, so that ID is actually sent to network, otherwise they don't have ID to postback"

Pretty sure just like the whole click URL situation i had a while back im over thinking this part and its really alot simpler than how it looks but none the less i have no idea what you mean by that so if you or someone could kindly rephrase that last part i would be much appreciated.

Thanks guys!

Here's an example of the Voluum postback URL you could place in maxbounty: voluumtrk2.com/postback?cid=#S2#&payout=#RATE#

Voluum understands that cid is the unique click id, but your aff network doesn't know that and shouldn't have to. When you set your offer up in voluum you can tell it to add the dynamic {clickid} value to a specific parameter like s2=. So you end up with an offer url like offer.com?s2=12345 when someone goes through your tracker. Before voluum sent the user to that URL they also logged the same 12345 as the click id in their system. If the user converts, the network will postback to your URL with the same s2=12345 but voluum's "s2" is cid. That's why in the voluum postback url for the network we have cid=#S2#. Say it out loud to yourself that "cid equals s2". They are the same thing, its just different tools telling each other what something means.

Also I wanted to mention that the first result in goole when I searched for "voluum postback maxbounty" was a pretty good video tutorial. Learning how to quickly google for things and knowing that you can find anything you need is a great skill to have. I've seen you're posts lately and you're just getting started and probably overwhelmed with info and second guessing everything assuming you don't know anything but you're much more capable than you realize and can totally figure all this stuff out. Everyone on here started off just like you are now.

Good luck!

Thanks @mitchell for answering this question!

How it looks Jeremiah, did you manage to successfully set it up?
