FINALLY running first native campaign!!!!!
Ladies and gentlemen. Finally the time has come where I run my first native campaign.
Actually this would not be happening so fast unless the boys from my other thread helped me SO MUCH on tips and how to's.
Now I just uploaded some creatives on Revcontent so we will have to see if they all get approved or not!
My goal? Well it's to own the world. Wait what? OHHH you mean about this? Well my goal with this is obviously to get to profit but to get any feedback and tips from the veteran native players for myself and others.
HERE WE GOOOOOOO!!
CAMPAIGN BUDGET: $1000 USD. If i do not see a conversion by the 300 dollar mark i will end the campaign.
SPEND: $100 A day
PAYOUT: $35 Its a CPS offer
TRAFFIC SOURCE: Revcontent
OFFER: Not going to say exactly what it is because after a shit ton of offer research I found a offer only 1 other person was running and pushing huge numbers. But it is health related. Not nutra like weight loss. If your a newb stay away from those. Especially with a small budget like me.
GEO: Worldwide. But due to my budget im sticking with netherlands to start off.
CREATIVES: I uploaded 4 to start but we will see if all of them get approved or not.
LANDERS: only 1. This was the most popular lander. But If i start seeing profit and have money to test i will test everything from multiple headlines and photos. Just the general copy.
TRACKER: Bemob
Running only on desktop to start.
I was going to wait for my ads to start running but i knew if i did not do this now i would pussy out so here i am! Honestly have no idea what to expect. I'm to excited to wait for my rep to give me a white list next week. But its also good practice to get in the habit of diving deep into the data and learn how to blacklist widgets and just get down n dirty
I will update you guys as soon as i start running traffic.
Also Im a real noob when it comes to tracking and for the life of me cannot figure it out properly. I think i got it but we will have to see.
If I do see some problems be aware for the wrath I will come down apon you with all the questions ahahah jk..... not really.
SEE YALL LATER!

Following along. Only thing I would recommend is testing out at least two more landing pages. Also test a lot of images as well like at least 20. Split test the landing pages. Hope it goes well. The devil is in the details as well make sure you get all details on a lander.

You think i can afford that on a 1k camp budget? More landers i can do. But 20 does sound a little steep. But im the new guy on the block yall tell me if it should be good or not.
Also it depends if i get my white list from my rep in a day or 2 or gonna have to go RON. That will also effect things.
Ill keep you guys posted on what happens with that. Ill setup another lander or 2 now.

Yeah I think it is important to use a good and aggressive lander right away and use at least two to test. I would test at the minimum 10 images, and 5 ad copies. The more variables you have the more likely you are to find profit. If you aren't testing enough it is wasting budget. If you had like 50-100 images it would be too many.

Images are done. 3 ads did not get approved. I have 4 ready to go and approved as of right now and 7 more pending with 3 being new images and headlines that was created from my beautiful fucked up mind.
Regarding the multiple landers. I tried to figure out how to do that in amazon S3 but currently am having troubles. I know after i figure that out i just have to put the multiple offer click URL in my landers which is not hard at all. Just the first part that's tripping me up. But also not very worried about it because i know this lander works.
Well its either it works or this guys been spending multiple thousands of dollars a day for a few weeks while making no money lol.
But testing will tell. Don't want to say it will work then in 3 days im like YUP it failed.
But because i already have ads approved and everything ready to go. Should i just go for it and activate the camp? Or should i try and wait an extra day to get the whitelist.
I'm quite eager to get started but at the same time if i can save a few hundred on blacklisting widgets i would like to wait. Thoughts on this?

UPDATE: Just activated the campaign. Will update in a day or 2 about the results and how to act from there. Thanks everyone!

you see what is happening with individual widgets from your tracker not in rev
if you are using a whitelist you just click the little x beside the widget id in rev to remove it or paste a comma separated list of widget id's in to block them if you are using blacklist
a visit is someone who has clicked on your ad
did you end up starting with a whitelist or blacklist? I can't keep up, either way you should have more than just one target activated

hahaha i know man. I was hoping to get the white list from my rep but no respond today. im used to it. But i have neither ATM. Going in there RON.
And you suggest running on more than 1 target? Right now im running on health and fitness. How many more would you suggest i add on?
And yea okay i see it now. Although i only see clicks from rev but 5 show up on my tracker from that country so thats odd idk whats up with that??
There is little traffic going on rn but its 4 am there so i wasnt expecting much all day...
Tmr ill post more. My rep hasnt answered all week so if she replies ill just ask for a whitelist.
Goals for the next day:
1. add a few more targets. How much? Idk i was hoping you guys could help me out.
2. weed out the bad widgets. Blacklist all placements higher than 75% CTR and 50 clicks to lander and none to offer page. Yes thats aggressive but my budget is small. 1000-1500.
3. write everything down on excel. document whats working regarding of creatives. what is getting low CTR which is what under .1%?
not going to do a whole lot tmr cause its only the 1st real day. for my tracker the cost doesnt show. although its only been a few clicks. Bemob doesnt do CPC tracking so i just did CPM and devided by 1000. So that may be why? OR just not enough clicks.

Hey champ. Terribly sorry for the delayed response. I have been off all business for a few months focusing on my health. You are going to have to get a little bit more detailed than that. Better yet i would suggest you start your own thread and have much more advanced gents and ladies to pitch in.
