Hi all,
I have just started an Adwords campaign with a Clicbank produkt. But for some reason I have got very low quality score with my keywords
Ad relevance is "above average" but the rest = "Landing page experience" and "Expected CTR" is below average and my QS is between 3/10 - 5/10.
That sucks a lot, I have never had such a low QS. Only reason with landing page could be that google found out that most parts of my LP are copied from different sites so it is not original content? Or might a https help here as well?
And with "Expected CTR" My real CTR is around 10%, I have ad groups with ad copies closely related to my keywords, how the heck they can say my expected CTR is below average
Help!
Thanks
No sure if what you are doing is legit for Adwords with offer or product you are pushing, however I will share some perspectives.
1.
"Ad relevance is "above average"
Depending what's in your ads does it heavily reflect on your landing pages, or your ads to landing page maybe too outlandish.
2.
"Only reason with landing page could be that google found out that most parts of my LP are copied from different sites so it is not original content"
So you've added no extra value, no modifications or benefit for your potential customers/ leads.
If you were the customer searching a product and you saw the same content on another landing page, what's the reason you would go through your landing page and not the others? Maybe display some extra value/ something that can assure them.
Example
You offer- Product: shoes
Our stylish White, Solar Red and Granite scientific built proven shoe with midfoot prevents bad posture, prevents long term knee and prevents ankle issues unlike other main stream brands on the market that are not built to last. blah blahh
Competitor offer: shoes
Our shoes in White, Solar Red and Granite. Utilising the original gradient pattern, the midfoot racing stripes pay tribute to the anatomy-inspired icon. Visible Air unit, distinctive lace stays and mesh throat sections.
You get the drift, plus you are teaching your potential leads why they should go back to you and not just for the cosmetic show.
3.
"Or might a https help here as well?"
If you have not swapped it to https, try it see if it makes a difference
4.
"And with "Expected CTR" My real CTR is around 10%, I have ad groups with ad copies closely related to my keywords, how the heck they can say my expected CTR is below average"
Nobody likes hearing this, however as another person shared with me.
Yes you maybe doing all this activities, yes you may think or believe you should be getting what you believe, yes ad networks are not perfect.
However at the end of the day you are not getting your desired results.
Suggesting a lot of the times, not always, the problem is YOU who is missing something/s.
Have you looked into landing page speeds or page efficiency with google tool or in your analytics
Is the traffic you are targeting the right traffic, maybe the terms you are targeting gets traffic however not buyers just researchers.
Have you contacted the Google support/ chat to ask what attributes can lead to low average landing page CTR to see if they could provide you more options to improve your results as they want you to spend money and follow the rules.
Hopefully some of the points may assist you
Happy hunting and enjoy
QS is mainly dependent on your CTR as higher CTR means more money for Google.
Ad relevance is based on what google thinks your landing page is about compared to what your ad says.
10% CTR is great if you can keep it I think your QS will improve.
Switch to https asap I think it's a neccessity these days.
Hope this helps.
