MGID, how to make it work?

Someone pointed me to MGID for traffic, sofar i have launched 4 different offers there, with really low click prices (0.10 only for US)

I tried a gaming toolbar, a make money online, a email submit and bingo cafe, and none of them are working!

Plenty of clicks but not a single conversion. What kind of offers would work on there?

I've been trying to work with them as well and they still have money of mine from a CPM campaign I stopped...because of no conversions and low clicks...It's kind of a pain working with them and I don't think conversions come easy...but look at what most of the other offers are on there and try some of those...I see a lot of gaming, cc, payday loans etc...I'm thinking it's not such a good place for quality traffic but great place for campaign ideas from the posts...

Yeah, they have quite alot of my money now too (minimum deposit is $500, and ive spend only like $100 off that)

but it seems to be allmost impossible to find something that is actually working

I looked into this company a bit because I saw their name popping up everywhere and I was trying to find what their story was. To me it sounds like they pay people and also have others just trade clicks with another. So probably most of the clicks are other users just clicking to get clickbacks to their site. Sounds like a profitable idea for them and not much value for their customers

I'm sure one can make things work there, but -- to be honest -- 10 cents a click is expensive as hell for this kind of traffic.

If you've ever lost hours clicking through their idiotic links and link walls (as I have), you'll know that there's almost a sort of flow to the whole process. Headlines grab your attention by calling out something shocking, odd, curious, sexy -- and usually conveying that in the attached image, as well. The page you're taken to will often (but not always) address whatever was expressed by the headline. If it is addressed, I'm satisfied. If it isn't, I get pissed and close the page -- and usually return to MGID to click on more headlines.

Ok, so who cares? Here's my tips: Convey something shocking, sexy, or weird in your headline. For example, take a gaming lead offer and make the headline "Why was this game banned in Canada and 12 U.S. states?" Make your image some sort of screenshot from the game with a random blurry item circled in red, to arouse the reader's curiosity. Then, create a landing page that directly addresses what you asked in your headline. Don't go too overboard -- your lead quality will be atrocious and your conversion ratio will likely suffer if your story is not believable. Link clearly to the offer page from your LP, letting the reader know that if the page is down, it is because the game has been banned in the reader's area.

Still, with 10 cent clicks on ADD-ridden traffic, you'll have a tough time even if your landing page is the second coming.

I would imagine something along the lines of downloads or gaming offers would work for a demographic of young guys with nothing to do but browse entertainment websites.

I'd really work the fake video angle with a content locker...that could do well....leadbolt or blams gateway is around 20-30epc....so I be that would be your best bet

They sell ads which are displayed on popups on popular viral image sites, blogs or at the righthand side of mgid.com. The traffic is very broad and therefore you'll need to test very broad offers that appeal to a large audience.

I've noticed that the majority of the ads running are for ipads, iphones and other electronic gadgets. Check out the 'BESTSELLERS' on the right...
