Has Anyone Read "Dotcom Secrets" By Russell Brunson?

Hi Guys.

I'm a newbie looking at getting into emailing and list building.

Recently I've come across this post on Charles Ngo's blog. Since Charles isn't a list building guy, he put some links to additional resources on the subject, including this one. It redirects to the offer page for the book "Dotcom Secrets" by Russell Brunson, which Mr. Brunson offers for free-plus-shipping on his site. According to the landing page the book focuses on sales funnels and list building, which is exactly what I want to do at this point in my Internet marketing journey.

My question for you guys is if any of you have actually read this book, and if so, if it's worth the $7.95 shipping cost, as well as adding my email address to yet another mailing list. I'd like to hear what you guys have to say about the book before I risk anything on it.

Thank you very much for reading and responding to my question. The book has good reviews, both on the landing page and on other sites, but I'd like to hear what the experts have to say about it before I buy.

The book is solid. If you don't want to be placed on an email list, you can either use a throwaway email address or get it from Amazon.

Thanks for the info. I don't really care that much about being on an email list. In my experience most people aren't too obnoxious. I just like to think things through before making a purchase. I'll order it tomorrow. Thanks again.

Seconding the opinion that the book is good. I wanted to read it quickly so got it on Amazon Kindle, didn't go through the whole F+S funnel.

He does focus on sales funnels and list building but not any sort of funnels and lists. His stuff is very much focused around infoproduct creation. You can apply lessons there to other things too, like e-commerce, consulting,.

But his main pitch is that you should create an infoproduct and the book guides you through his process.
