Question: Prosper202 Tabs Loading Extremely Slow
I have prosper202 with beyonhosting(VPS512), and sometimes when i click on Analyze Tab or Spy tab it loads extremely slow that i just hit the reload button on the browser. I suspect when it happens my landing and redirects on this hosting are slow as well.
I contacted support, they asked me to provide my prosper account login info to check it, i refused, they say they cant help in that case
What do you think is the cause of this slow loading problem, will upgrading to a higher cost plan help resolve the issue. Cause with this plan "memcache" is not running. But again i don't know if having memcache running will help with this problem
Thanks

how big is your mysql DB for prosper? you can see the size if you click "administration" within prosper..maybe you'll have to delete your prosper click data to make it fast again...i usually clear the db after 500k-1 million clicks

If we can't have the 202 interface at hand to simulate load in real time we can't look at mysql to see whats going on.
Are your date filters set to a huge time scale or just like weekly? The VPS512 is a little short on ram to do big querys but should be able to handle it without to much issue provided mysql isnt busy tracking clicks while you analyze them.

Most likely becoming slow from you smashing the f5 key 10 times like that's going to make a *complex* query complete faster. The more times you slam f5 the slower its going to get, kinda like pouring 5 gallons of oil into a funnel.. sure it comes out of the container fast but it only goes out the funnel at a set rate.
