ZeroPark For Newbie?

Hello. As a newbie, would you suggest I use ZeroPark as my starting Pop / Redirect traffic source? I have not yet bought Voluum, and ZeroPark is probably the cheapest option in the long-term track campaigns on since it allows unlimited tracking on Voluum.

However, I've been told ZP has issues with a lot of bot traffic as opposed to other sources (PropellerAds, PopAds, etc.). Should I take the dip and use ZP + Voluum or use Voluum + PropellerAds/PopAds to start out my journey with (the latter option would be more expensive e.g. <2m events = $299/m, <5m events = $599/m and <5m events = $1499/m).

Any thoughts, especially since Voluum changed their pricing structure and now their plans start at $299/m?

Use a different tracker. Voluum charges too much while offering too little for newbies now.

Voluum made it a bit more complicated for newbies to start with them, I cant imagine how newbies will shill out $300 a month for a tracker ... look for other options to track your campaigns.

ZP traffic is traditionally of very low quality, but that has more to do with the type of the traffic ... POPs, redirects, 404s ... this is the cheapest and lowest quality traffic out there ... hence the low price ZP actually also resells traffic from other POP sources ... not sure what networks exactly they resell these days, but I think propeller and popads are in the mix. The best is to test several networks and see where you get the best results.

I have not had any luck personally with pops on Zeropark. I have had some redirect working OK there.

As for trackers, check Funnel Flux or Binom. Both great options and a lot cheaper than Voluum.

EDIT: Doh, just realised I already replied to this. Maybe some kind mod can merge my posts?

I would recommend to start campaigns on popads/propellerads first, then only when you find a promising offer+lander combination, scale to a source like Zeropark.

Zeropark is great in their features - such as being able to change bids on the target and source levels, as well as the good traffic volume. But a part of what contributes to the volume is the fact that they broker from many other pop networks, which results in a mix of quality.

The best approach would be to use networks that have smaller volume but higher quality traffic to test offers and landers, then take the best combination to zeropark and cut placements and test bids.

If you use zeropark for initial testing of offers and landers, it would still work, but you'd need to spend more on testing because you'll get a mix of good and bad traffic in the beginning. Whereas if you'd do your testing elsewhere and then take a proven offer+lander to zeropark, you'd be able to start cutting placements that don't convert right away. It's cheaper that way and less frustrating.

As for saving on tracker cost, I agree with other members: May be time to switch.

Hey Guys,

We are confident that with the use of our knowledge base and other resources Zeropark is a great platform for testing campaigns. Our mixture of aggregated and unique sources mean that we have a wide varitey of traffic, so you are bound to find somethign that converts for your offer.

As Amy said, "you'd need to spend more on testing because you'll get a mix of good and bad traffic in the beginning" but this is true of all traffic networks, affiliate marketing is weeding the great sources out from the bad and on Zeropark you can really scale those good sources.

We also offer a one month free trial with Voluum for all new Zeropark clients to help them get started.

If you have any further detailed questions about campaigns you can write to support@zeropark.com
