Am i confused or Trolled myself... (8)
Hi,
almost over a week here at stm. started the pop ads, although i don't know why i don't like doing pop ads. No success yet.
I am interested on Native, PPC kind of stuff. But i don't know why i am not getting any threads that guides through Native and PPC stuff.
Am i confused or I don't know.
What about you guys ? #newbies
not to be a hardass but name a business idea that can get you success in a few weeks when your first starting off. Stick with pops for now. It is harder to make money but you shoul not be even focusing on that just yet.
Your job is to learn about tracking, taking and fixing up landing pages and hosting etc.
You WILL lose money. thats a fact. Didn't charles ngo say that he lost like 6k and 5 months of working all day every day before he got his first profitable campaign? I think it's around those numbers. And that was like a decade ago. It's not easier now trust me.
What i see is you having shiny object syndrome. try something out a little bit see no success. Hear that people are making alot of money from 1 area then you go there for a few weeks. lose a bunch of money then say fuck it and leave.
Trust me when i say this. There is no easy way at first to make money in AM. The guru's preach BS man.
Just hang in there. Scower through these threads like a fucking mouse. Take notes. Then try again. You will fail. You will want to give up. But if you really want it. You will tell yourself to sit the fuck down and make it happen. You got this bro.
Seriously you got some of the best names in the game here helping others. Just ask. Focus on one traffic source for now and learn it.

Thanks for the reply Jeremiah, I am familier with the tracking, landing pages and hosting as you said (already had been doing since few years, but for another purpose like YT to landing pages, IG to landing pages etc.). That's why i was not much interested with pop.
My apologies I read it like you were in AM for a week and dont know why your not making money LOL.
And that's fine if you dont like pops. I do not have much experience with those so I really cannot say. Apparently there are people still making good money off it but people are making good money on almost every traffic source.
Just pick one. Dive deep into it and learn it. If its native you want to master?
That's fine. Just go to the native section of this forum. Read all the threads. Take notes. Ask questions. And then start testing if you already got the basics down.
And I keep seeing masterminds popping up for multiple traffic sources. If your really serious about this. And I hope you are!! Then join one!
It will force you to keep pushing everyday but also you know have multiple people to share ideas and tips with.

I understand your dislike of pop traffic.
It is true that we don't have a beginner's guide on native or PPC. But we DO have lots of threads in those forum sections that you can read to get helpful tips.
There's a treasure trove full of information on how to run. Just read to get an initial idea, then start running to get actual experience, and then read some more. Don't let the fact that there isn't a step-by-step beginner's guide on native or PPC deter you from starting!
(We DO have plans to create a guide on native traffic in the future - but don't wait for that to happen. There are lots of people making a killing on native right now - just read the "What's Working in 2018" report and it will be obvious.)

I smell a bit of the shiny objects syndrome.
It's tempting to switch to something else and distract yourself.
What you need is FOCUS, choose your traffic source and go deep, deep, very deep in it unless you MASTER it.
Of course you can switch to native, but just don't jump too often as you will just end up burning lots of money, lot of stress and hating the whole AM industry
