Product pages look great! Perhaps including a video to demonstrate the product will help conversions as well.
I like a lot of your ideas. I'm not very experienced with ecom yet so I look forward to learning together and sharing experiences and knowledge.
I would highly recommend this book on ecom:
https://stmforum.com/forum/showthrea...n-introduction
And even if you don't get the book for now, if you have a bit of time I would suggest that you read through my summary of the first part of the book - I'm sure you can find lots of inspiration.
Percentage discounts are a good idea. I would also suggest to test an order threshold that customers can reach to qualify for free shipping.
An FB bot for giving promo codes for clients who share your posts - I love that idea! But I guess only testing will tell how effective that technique is. Definitely figure out the tracking so you can see whether you're making profits with your "investment" (i.e. the discounts).
I've never used woocommerce so can't recommend plugins. As for stuff like countdown timer, those are such common sales tactics, and I haven't heard about negative long-term effects. Maybe veterans can chime in on this.
Eager to see you move onto the actual traffic-buying stage!

Thanks vortex, I'm reading your Ecommerce Evolved Summary and it looks really great
Including a video on product page is great but right now I'm testing a GIF file instead of the first image, so that the page still loads fast and on that GIF clients can see what does the product do.
PART TWO
So the website is done. Right now I have one payment provider who offers bank transfers and credit/debit card payments.
I have installed FB Pixel, Google Analytics and Hotjar on my website and in that part I want to focus on FB Pixel stats.
I decided to test 3 products. For start all the campaigns that I made were set to Conversions as a marketing objective. I know that it isn't the way how funnel works (Awareness -> Consideration -> Conversion) but I wanted to check how it'll work.
All the campaigns budget was zł20/day which is around $5.4/day
Here are the results:
https://ws1.sinaimg.cn/large/006tNc7...31kw079q8v.jpg
At the end of the first day I found out that 2 campaigns are working worse than others and I decided to turn them off and for the next day I was left with 2 campaigns promoting 2 different products (Product 1 and Product 2)
I earn around:
- zł14.33 for a Product 1 (without FB ads conversion costs)
- zł14.29 for a Product 2 (without FB ads conversion costs)
As you can see on the SS the cost per conversion is:
- zł44.36 for Product 1
- zł22.69 for Product 2
Which gives me:
The numbers are not great at the moment but I can already see things that could perform better in my website funnel:
This is how checkout page looks like:
https://ws3.sinaimg.cn/large/006tNc7...31kw1cdag4.jpg
1. Order process flow
Look at Cost per Website Checkout Initiated. It is 10 (Product 1) and 6 (Product 2) times bigger than my Website Purchases and I'm sure there is something more I can do with my checkout page because what it shows is: a lot of people click "Purchase" button. Only 10% (Product 1) and 16.7% (Product 2) of people makes a purchase after visiting the checkout page.
To sum those numbers up, I got from those 2 working products
22 people who have initiated checkout --->
3 people who made a payment
But... there is one more thing
2. Payment provider(?)
Between people who initiated checkout and people who made a payment I have people who filled out their informations on checkout but failed to make a payment. Why? This is something I want to know, doesn't they trust the provider? is their bank supported by the provider?
Here are the numbers:
22 people who have initiated checkout --->
7 people who filled their data but failed to pay --->
3 people who made a payment
There are 4 people that were lost because of the payment provider or because of their fault somehow. That is a lot, if those people would successfully made their payment I would get around
+11.5% ROI on both products
Things to do:
1. Test making a funnel on FB Ads (Awareness -> Consideration -> Conversion)
2. Make changes to checkout page that will improve results (how?)
3. Prepare analytics from GA and Hotjar
4. Install more than one payment gateways on store
