Setting Up my Custom Domain on Voluum

Hello all,
I am about a month into affiliate marketing and still trying to wrap my head around some of the concepts.
I have been following Vortex's 40 day guide and I have a domain set up already within Voluum with an .xyz ending.
I have now set up a Blue Host server to put my domain into. I was trying to trouble shoot sending my .xyz ending to blue host for my domain, but am very confused on how to do so. I ended up just buying a domain off of Blue Host to see if that would fix the problem. I now have a .com ending from Blue host and this is my Parked Domain with my .xyz still my primary, but the .xyz ending is still (Not Found).

That is the background. But my question is, how do I make my .com domain the new Voluum Custom Domain to point to. I am having trouble with adding this into Voluum and have been trying to trouble shoot, but have been unsuccessful. Is there anyone that has a guide or know how of adding a tracking within Blue Host to allow me to point to Voluum?

Some of this may not make sense, but if there is someone that could help me it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Koobs

Hello Koobs,

In the first place, please check if you CNAMEd your Custom Domain correctly to your Dedicated Domain provided by Voluum. This guide will help you with setting this up. If it still doesn't pass the verification - please, contact us directly via email support@voluum.com and we will help you resolve that issue.

Regards,
Voluum Team

I have bluehost domain too but I chose to go with NameCheap because it’s a lot simpler and easier to navigate and follow along with vortex’s guide.

After you add the custom domain on Voluum, keep in mind there’s a 24 hour propagation period so Voluum can verify the dns.

Just a headsup guys, bluehost is a cheap host that is regularly overselling the CPU power of their servers as well as the bandwidth ... as such, it's absolutely not recommended to host LPs there or anything that you ever plan to send some volume to.
