Can You run app Install on Adwords Anymore?

Hi, Does anyone know if you can still run affiliate app installs on google adwords anymore? You used to be able to include a custom tracking but it seems with the new "universal app" campaigns they don't have the option. My affiliate manager mentioned that affiliates were driving a lot of traffic with google, but I can't seem to figure out how it is possible.

Any help or suggestions are really appreciated.

You should still be able to use standard banner or textlink/keywords clicks and send the clicks through a tracker or use the advertisers tracking system. Banners on the display network used to work pretty good for this, did you try that?

I'm not sure if it's possible to somehow track the conversions made when using the universal app promotion systems, but in theory there should still be some tracking code for the campaign, so maybe they would see it in their analytics. Did you ask your AM about it and how affiliates are doing it, they should know.
