When it comes to promoting pin submit offers, a lot of affs usually tend to ignore the desktop traffic (hey, users can still submit their mobile number from desktop as well).
There is much more volume available and for really cheap, in a lot of cases the conversion rate will be lower then on mobile (sometimes even higher!), but the available volume will payoff.
Most of the time the same landers used for mobile with just a bit of adjustment works well on desktop as well (quiz type landers doing good).
You can see the stats of the same camp I run on mobile and desktop for a specific period, the best part is the ROI, there is no difference

Desktop requires quiet some cutting and optimization though to get good ROI, there are a lot of placements with ton of bots!
And now a very simple script that can 2-3x your conversion rate on desktop if you are creative enough with your message
It will show the messaga when user tries to move the cursor outside of the page, say when wants to close the page.
document.addEventListener("mouseleave", function(){
alert('dont leave')
})
Hey!
Thank you for the thread and script!
Yes, Desktop pop traffic can work very good with pins and sweeps. Often my ROI there is higher than on mobile. And cost always 2-5 times less
So, yes, don’t forget about desktop traffic.
Desktop is definitely not to be overlooked ... though in my experience, there is way less traffic in desktop these days, I didn't know the difference grew that big during the past year or two. I've done some tests and in some GEOs and niches that I target, the brekadown is already as high as 15/85 in favor of mobiles. ... 30/70 seems to be the norm now.
Thanks for sharing adserk!
With how popular mobile has become in the past 2-3 years, many people have abandoned desktop - result is prices have come down. And smart affiliates like yourself are taking advantage of it.
Missed this thread last week somehow - gonna put it in this upcoming week's newsletter!

Desktop traffic still work well, no doubts, precisely on Pop traffic, which is surprising but still the bid are low and the margins behind are super high.
Mobile traffic is highly converting too, which makes it more expensive to buy.
2 Schools, but both profitable.

we do well with both desktop and mobile sources for mobile content campaigns, we bring in a lot of volume and allow to optimize by subID, I recommend utilizing push and pop sources specifically for any mobile content campaign, when that starts working well for you we can always scale up through native and display.
