Affiliate World Conference Bangkok 2018 - Here I come (9)

Everybody is a loner man, even (or especially) people with loads of people around them ;-). Affiliate Conferences are very open and people are willing to have a chat about the weather, but ofcourse also about the business. Don't be afraid and keep your eyes open during the show to grab opportunities to talk with relevant people.

I like the idea of a thread or maybe a Skype group for "loners" like you so you guys have eachother and give a confidence boost!

Best of luck, I'm also in a similar Position. Been in IM for a few year but recently getting into paid traffic and had a small taste of success until campaign died.

I also said fuck it, and booked a ticket to Affiliate world Europe. Never been to any conference of any kind, I'm going in with zero expectations and hopefully meet some like minded people and if thats not the case, then free beer from all the after parties at least

I will be making a Journey thread documenting my experience as someone who has never went and what my thoughts on it.

P.S. I plan on going to Bangkok also if everything goes well.

Just an idea but maybe you can make a mastermind around this with the goal of having the (probably) first in person meeting in Bangkok. Also makes the mastermind focus on the journey, not only on traffic source tactics.

That way, you already know each other and are very comfortable sharing info, plus you won't be "alone" the first time at a conference. Sure, networking is great but the first time meeting people, you won't get THAT much out of it imo. Can't start too early to create longer lasting relationships.

The goal is also pretty motivating I think, makes for a greater journey if you're all fighting for the same goal - to meet at AWA 2018 Bangkok.

Last year was excellent, my favorite show by far. I will be back again, manning the booth for Thrivetracker, and I would love to meet up with any/all forum members during the course of the conference!

STM Members get some pretty impressive deals when signing up with us

Welcome back fellow 'Strayan!, great decision!

but I believe in investing in myself

The accountability purchase is fantastic, 5 months is plenty of time if you begin to take action daily with of course some mini bouts of rest if your mind becomes cluttered, so ecom is what you want to focus on or you're yet to decide which path in the game you're going to take?

Where abouts in Melbourne are you from, are you escaping the Winter (I don't even remember what the sun looks like ) and in Saigon right now?
