Hello Stm members,

i just started new store with help of Shopify app. i have planned to promote via google shopping and facebook.

some one please tell me which source of traffic is good ? and possible to help me with product research ?

@preethiiyer,

Did you check out the ecommerce cookbook? It's a pretty comprehensive multi-step guide, which covers everyting from research to traffic.

Have a look, go through the steps and then let us know if you still have any questions.

As pekadis said you should really read cookbook. It's many information there.

As for sources it really depends on what product do you have. AdWords and FB are good sources for sure. I would also recommend Instagram (not only official ads, you can also buy posts throw TOP bloggers).
One of my friends buys ads on forums. And it really works. I'm also promoting now some products via Push traffic, but you should have really WOW product.

each different traffic source have its own "best practices" when it comes to promotion. Always ask yourself what users are doing when your chosen media channel is going to show them your advertising.
