Taboola has been forcing advertisers to stop autoplay on videos (which is ok), but also to add controls (forward, backward, etc...) which also reveals the length of our long video sales letters.
So far, I've seen a 30% drop in conversion when we add controls to the video.
Any good idea on how i could solve this problem? (use a better video player than youtube, etc...)

Just saw this. Not great news, but glad to see we're not the only ones being forced to make this change. I agree with you that stopping audio autoplay isn't that big a deal especially with some of the browser changes, but full controls is a royal pain in the ass. Not to mention I don't mind providing a subset of them (pause, play, rewind), but forward seems to defeat part of point of the vsl.
