Retargeting on Native?

Hey guys - what is the best way to test some retargeting campaigns?
I noticed some of the native networks already offer their own retargeting, or would i be better checking out some of the dedicated retargeting services, like perfectaudience.com or retargeter.com?

Which is a good platform to start on?

Hello!

To be honest it depends on what network do you use. I don’t have big experience with regathering, but based on my results in-house retargeting features is enough.

Revcontent has re-targeting but I'm seeing super low volume from it, like maybe 1% of daily adspend. Still, it's easy money - I'm getting 150% ROI from it.

From what I've heard though, some of those re-targeting platforms like perfectaudience.com aren't going to be very welcoming to the affiliate campaigns that typically work on native.

If the native platform you're on offers re-targeting I would definitely get it setup.

Do you use the same landing page as your regular campaigns for your retargeting campaigns at Revcontent?
And would you recommend direct linking for retargeting camps as those users already have read the Advertorial contents?

Same LP.

Haven't tested DL, but I wouldn't expect it to perform better. They may have been pixeled, but that doesn't mean they've read the advertorial in its entirety. They may have just skimmed and hit the back button. Plus only 10-30% clicked through to the offer.

Ideally I think you'd want to have a different LP that answers a potential buyer's sticking points, like "The 7 Awesome Benefits of X" or something where it goes more into detail of the products benefits.
