Best Trade Show Swag?
We're looking for ideas on what to brand and give away at the upcoming summer trade shows. I figure lets go straight to the source and ask you, the affiliates, what you guys like to get and end up using for more than just a day or weekend?
Blast us here with ideas or examples of your favorite past items and we'll be sure to have some of them for you in Barcelona and New York.

One thing that I received that I really loved was a branded Grid-It for cords. I actually keep it in my briefcase whenever I travel, super useful and has started conversations in airport bars.

I received a branded miniature torch in a carry case that now sits in my car, and sees ongoing use.

I still use a power bank I got - definitely one of the most useful trade show gifts.
Other than that, some useful/cool stuff on my mind: keychain with a torch, stress ball/cube, backpack (not hand held bag, very important difference).
Things that get little attention/use in public after the event usually: sunglasses, T-shirts, fidget spinners.

No gadgets for me, throw em all away honestly. A chill rooftop party is still the best way to create goodwill towards affiliates I think.

Best gift ever I got is from GLIZE (thanks Stefan!)
It's a compact USB fan.
Living in Thailand and hating to have aircon opened for a long time I use it every single day.
Even now, look!

Whatever it is you choose, make sure you don't cheap out. If you need to get 50% less of something, so be it, but you don't want something craping out or falling apart with your logo on it.

So true. And if it actually works well with your brand, even better.
Say you have crypto offers, something geeky can work really nicely even if not useful.

Has anyone actually changed or made a business decision based on swag?
I certainly have not.

I always appreciate a nice, soft t shirt as I can actually put that to use but as cmdeal said it won’t change my mind on business decisions.

I wouldn't say I make important decisions based on swag, but I do like to work more with people who value their partners more ... so a personalized gift definitely get's them more of my attention and I'm willing to spend more time on their offers for example. My logic is that if they are willing to take an extra step by selecting something of value for their partners, they might also be willing to work on custom deals etc ...
On top of that, offering swag kinda has an impact on the image of a company ... cause if they're too cheap to invest a couple $$$ into some pens or notepads, that can tell you something about them. Funny thing is that it's often far from the truth, many scammers got all their attention by handing out expensive gifts....

A few years ago at an ASW the affiliate network W4 gave out custom skateboard decks. I think this is one of the most unique pieces of swag I can remember.
