Use THIS VPN for true residential IP's

Hello guys, just wanted to share something:

I use to have a GPT like website and a lot of fraudsters would use http://hola.org/ to bypass proxy checkers. It's basically a community vpn where you share your connection with everyone else. So you pretty much have access to residential IP's and it's virtually impossible for proxy checkers to identify them.

Just thought I'd share this with you guys, as I have notice when spying on the competition I often get redirected.

I edited your URL as it pointed to a parked domain.

This service is known between affiliates.

There is also a paid pro version called https://luminati.io/ where they are basically resell/offer the IPs/connections of the people who use the free version

In most Tier-1 countries, Hola will actually give you data centre IP addresses (which are easy to flag).

Luminati is where they offer residential/carrier IP addresses from their pool of Hola users. It is why we spend thousands of dollars per month on subscriptions to services like Luminati. We are constantly scraping their IP addresses and blacklisting them. Our database for Luminati alone is millions of IP addresses.

As well, there are methods to detect when a visitor is using a residential IP address as a proxy. We understood that flagging residential/carrier proxies would become a major concern, and were the first to launch client-side tests that achieved this many years ago. When you combine these tests with IP address blacklists, you can quite accurately flag users of residential proxies.
