Hey all,

I've been putting together a list of places to help marketers spot the latest trending topics online and offline. We all know that staying on top of the latest buzz can make the difference between a "meh" and a Fantastic campaign .

Other Tips

1. Check talk show schedules for upcoming topics as well as current ones and then market products / write ads accordingly. Great for short term traffic boost through keyword targeting on the search engines or potentially for long term profits by making your own product based on topics discussed on these shows.
2. Go to your local library and check the latest magazines and note trending topics across each vertical. Just skimming the featured articles on the cover is enough to give you some great data

I've been searching this for the last hour or so but can't find it: It was a "social stream" of facebook status updates, where you could enter a keyword and it would display you all sorts of status updates that include that keyword.

I'm sure you guys know what I mean, can anyone please point me in the right direction?

awesome awesome list guys.

I'm searching for a website about facebook. It's been posted on the forums before, but i can't find it anymore. It's a site where you can search a keyword, and they show you results about people talking about that keyword on facebook atm... Anyone knows what website this is??

So lets say if i search for paris hilton, it will show you post of people on facebook that are talking about paris hilton
