Mobidea + Propellerads Direct Linking still work?

Hello,

I am new here and following try to find profitable offer on Mobidea with traffic from Properads via Direct Linking, is it still possible to do so? How many attempts before finding a profitable campaign?

Hey!

Yes, it works. But you have to find a really good offer for your campaign.
But as POP traffic is not-motivated, I highly recommend to use LPs. It’s very easy just to use Adplexity or ask your AM about good lander.

But some 1-click offers (Video, Games) work great with direct linking. Especially in Tier-3 GEOs.

I'm a newbie too
I'm using PropellerAds with Mobidea's smartlink. seems it's very hard to make it work
geo+carrier: KE safaricom
13866 visits, only one conversion.
advertising cost is $9.39, revenue $0.01
maybe propellerAds's traffic quality is too low, or maybe i choose the wrong geo.
anyway, I decide to give up smartlinks.

Propeller Ads has good traffic and $0.01 is too low for Kenya so I also would think that the conversion is from the Smartlink.
I also don´t like Smartlinks at all, I prefer to keep control over what I run and what not.
And Smartlinks also often contain flagged domains that in worst case can cost you your account form the trafficsource.

Directlink on POPs ... that's really tough now. It was very easy not so long ago, but the regulations made it almost impossible to profit with this simple setup. You need to to focus on particular offers and use LPs. Smartlinks are still great for monetizing leftover/remnant traffic or clicks that you don't know what to do with ... but the core of the traffic you buy has to be more targeted now ... so a LP and a matching offer.

Hey hey!

Well, we have some affiliates who are still doing very well with direct linking in Pop, but for sure they are already experienced ones.
Thus, our AM normally advise working with LP, as it was already mentioned above. And also I would say from the user experience it is better to have well-made LP. And either way, you will definitely need to learn how to work with LP one day.
You can write to your AM or Support, they might suggest the couple of applications where you can build your own design for the LP.

Although it's not IMPOSSIBLE to make profits by direct-linking, I would highly recommend not going this route if you're a newbie running WHITEHAT.

Many/most affiliates that are still making money with DCB offfers are using blackhat tactics such as iframing and clickjacking.

Spending your time elsewhere will get you much better results.

So a Good "elsewhere" will be finding good landing page on adplexity and match it with a good offer on Mobidea?

Yes.

And you don't have to pick an offer first and then find a lander for it. You can go the other way: Browse Adplexity to see what types of offers there are landers available for, then look for that type of offers to run.

"Elsewhere" can also be other types of traffic aside from pop - such as Native, FB and Adwords, all of which are very hot traffic types where many affiates are making very good money right now.
