Has anybody started taking advantage of video ads in adult? Any idea on how to get started with it?

Didnt try it yet personally, but I think Traffic Junky has this option now, try to check it.

Another approach I've seen used a lot was to watermark videos with some domain, or use a intro in adult videos that advertises something easy to remember, in order to get type-in traffic.

Exoclick has them now as well.

I've not seen much of these ads yet, but when I stumbled upon some it was mostly from bigger adult brands that jumped on the train.

Might be good opportunity, as well as native formats, just need to check if there is any good volume as publishers need to jump on it as well.
