Hello all, just entered the forum and saw amazing things, can't wait to get started. I'm starting from the vortex's guide which is very well written but I have a question about potential gains. I'm looking for mobile offers on
The main purpose of the guide is to hold fresh newbies by hand and walk them through the whole process, in the most straight forward way possible. When Amy compiled this guide, the mobile offers were working very well and it was quite easy to reach profits with them. This has changed unfortunately, so now it's more about learning the basics but no big gains are to be expected.
Now don't get me wrong, it is still possible to make money with the same setup (POPs + mobile offers) and many people still make solid dough with this approach. It's just way harder for newbies than it was just a year or so ago.
The key moment here is to find the RIGHT offer, if you can get it, it will still convert good enough and the math will work out.
So, in case you are a complete newbie, I'd still recommend to follow the guide and learn the basics with it ... then you can move elsewhere.
The guide is still relevant. There are newbies that have only run for a few weeks that have already achieved 2-3 figures/day. The only thing that changed is the profitability of direct linking to carrier billing offers. These are the offers matuloo is talking about, NOT the entire tutorial.

The best way to make use of the tutorial, would be to only run a few direct-linked campaigns where you do not use landing pages. This is just for you to get some practice on setting up campaigns and testing offers. No matter whether these few campaigns are profitable or not, don't spend too much on them (probably no more than 10x of offer payout on maybe no more than 5 offers). After that, continue to move onto the lessons on how to use landing pages. That's how you will likely make money. Direct linking doesn't work half as well as it used to (but is still the easiest type of campaign to set up so we do it for practice).
