Looking Media Buys Guide

Hi Guys, I was told that media buys is good for promoting Clickbanks product as that what I am currently promoting. I could not find any updated guide, study case or tutorial that I can follow. Any expert in this field to mentor me. I really appreciate that.

Thanks again

The basics of media buying are the same, no matter what type of product you are promoting.

So basically, you will need a set of quality landing pages, or CB products that are already designed in a LP-like way. And you will have to pick a traffic type and traffic source (s) to buy traffic from.

Based on how well designed and broad appeal the offers are, you could start with buying POP traffic. I still see some info products promoted that way.

But more likely, you will need better traffic ... adwords (search or display networks), bing ... facebook or other social media (based on the niche) ... you might want to try native or DSP display traffic.

It would help if you could share the niche of the product you want to promote, maybe GEO and some more details about it ... whats the conversion point and the payout ... I understand you might want to NOT reveal to much, but the more detailed info we have, the better we can help

Thank so much for the brief, yeah I have no problem revealing info for the sake of learning.

Currently, I am promoting CB products via google adwords & making avg $100 per week. Now, I think it started to dry out.

I was trying to scale out but increasing the budget but the volume does not increase. So, google kept charging the same amount of money. I understand that google does not like direct linking that why I build a review site. So far the ROI is good (spend $10 & make $20-$50) but no volume to make more sales.

I tried Bing but I got banned twise so fast without any reason. I talked with their support but still no answer of why they banned me. I just started & in 1 day gor banned. So, I thought Bing may not be my friend.

I have good experience with Facebook ads as I am promoting local product via Fan Page but the sales process is quite manual & old fashion (customer PM, we communicate via PM & customer will bank-in). I have spent over $15k with facebook ads & doing good ROI around 20-30% but difficult to scale because I still human touch to communicate with the prospect before closing the sales.

I tried promoting clickbank product via FB ads but its seem FB does not like it & I Do not want to risk my FB account to be flaged since I am mainly using it for my local biz.

When comparing between online local biz & affiliate, I see that I have better ROI & less overhead that why I am trying to shift my focus on Clickbank. I do not see much thread or disccusion in the forum about clickbank.

I am really open to learn about POP traffics & other media buys sources. I found about these sites but I don’t know how good are they that why I am looking for mentor here. These media buys website such as buysellads, adclerks, tribal ad network, adnow, pushads, studads & rtx platform. I was looking for guide about them but could not find much & only couple youtube videos. I wanna know how effective there are & the step by step process.

Back to my niche which @matuloo was asking. I have not 4 different niches that I have review sites
2 in early childhoold education, 1 marriage relationship & 1 about dog training. Can u suggest what kind of media buys traffic sources is good? I heard offer with high payout is quite hard to convert with pop, DSP & native.

I am willing learning everything until I make $100/day & follow big success stories that making $10k/day. So please show me the way as I am quite blurr when browsing all threads with some were posted back in 2011 & I don’t know if there are still relevant in 2018?

Thanks again for the quite respond.

Ok, I think adwords should still be the best bet for you, maybe you just need to approach it in a different way. They have the most volume of all AD networks, so it's hard to imagine you couldn't get more juice from them

Are you using just the search (keywords) traffic or also using their display network (via banners) ? There is a ton of traffic in there too.

How many keywords are you targeting? Are you using all possible variations of the related keywords, including long tails? How about your quality scores? Adwords is a bit more complicated than just throwing up a few KWs and waiting for traffic. I would strongly recommend reading more about how their algo works ... do you have access to any guide like that?

Facebook would be a great option too, I understand they are not very affiliate friendly lately, but maybe you could leverage the fanpages a bit more and run some ads to increase the fan base and share some quality posts that would lead to sales.

The childhood education should work well on FB, moms on maternity are literaly addicted to FB and they share anything ... especially if there is some possible prize involved

Native should be usable too, but you will need to target the right sites and widgets .. your products cater to specific audiences so you need to advertise to those people.

Another option is to work on organic traffic more ... are your review sites getting any SE traffic? Are you building content for them or do they just server as "landing pages" basically?

Then there are forums and groups, I've been running a small network of dog blogs, there were many active communities out there ... try to find them and look for ways to put ads on them ... most were using adsense last time I checked so you can reach them through the google display network.

There is a lot you can do here
