If you live under a rock, then you might not have heard…we've moved Affiliate World Europe to sunny and beautiful Barcelona, Spain!

Affiliate World Asia was of course, our biggest event to date. The amount of positive feedback that continues to pour in makes our cold, affiliate hearts tingle. We're so grateful to be able to provide everyone with a platform and venue to connect, do business and build lifelong friendships. In our industry, we spend so much time on our own, it's these moments that really bring purpose as affiliate marketers, agencies and ecommerce entrepreneurs to life.

I'd like to share with you guys some important items Re: Spain, just so you're prepared:

- Marriage: if you meet a local and decide he/she's the one, it's pretty easy to get married. Just head to the Civil Registry of Barcelona, bring your passport. Also, same sex marriages are cool, AW doesn't discriminate.
- Pets: if you own a bird and want to bring it along, just get its medical certificate up to date and translated into Spanish. How crazy would it be if someone was rocking a Macaw or Parrot on the exhibition floor? Disclaimer: Poultry is not considered a pet, so do not try to start a cockfighting gambling ring networking event, or if you do just buy them in Spain.
- Bars: Barcelona is home to the world's first beach ice bar. I'm plugging this because I want someone to throw a party here that we can all crash.

Date: July 18th to 19th (Weds/Thurs, leaves the weekend for you to make it to Ibiiiiza)

Ezra Firestone

You may joke about the whole marriage thing...but one of my employees recently got hitched with a lady he met during AWA (she wasn't at the actual show, and yes she was actually a lady).


P.S. The FIFA world cup final will be on July 15th...Spain is a top contender...if Spain are in the final then Barcelona is going to be nuts. I shall be there getting amongst it.

For the first time at Affiliate World, we're hosting specific networking sessions for attendees. Some of the past show data had leaned on more networking opportunities. We dug deep and have selected four topics we're focusing on that should have the most interest. They're going to be twice daily in the afternoon, limited capacity but with good turnouts we're going to look to scale for future shows.

I know everyone says it, but you just can not beat these events if you're looking to really make a career out of affiliate marketing or have a proper crack at it. It also shows how real it all is, there is a certain mythical sense to earning a living online but when you see it free flowing in reality before your eyes at these trade shows its like a motivation injection into your veins.


Oh and god the parties.. well if Chaz is kept on a leash the whole Conference would do everyone a favour we will all have less of a hangover and a bit more morality haha

I'm really excited for the STM meetups this year, it's something brand new and we hope to throw more and more focused meetups every show.

This years STM Meetups:
A) Mobile App installs
B) Old school Email Marketing
C) The tried and true Lead Generation
D) Building a Brand around Ecommerce

The idea here is to only bring like minded people who are most interested in these topics to each meetup so you can really step up your networking, learn more, and build new relationships in the industries you're most focused in.
