Wooof
What a pile of work, but loved it. Set up a Shopify POD store, nichey so to speak. We are actually going to go the brand-building
way with a super high-quality blog + IG + Pint + Etsy + everything under the moon and back. We have a very tight integration going here!
My FB pixel is integrated using the Pixel Perfect app, not the generic placement on the store.
So better machine learning as it will track the sales sequence better.
Should I wait for sales using other media before I run FB? I did a quick 50 buck test to actually see things in action for the first time in FB, that everything was working right, just general awareness traffic. Zero sales.
What would be your preferred strategy? Would going straight for WC be a shot in the foot? Start with PPE? C2W ? Try to funnel people through the FB Page?
Only targetting TIER 1 - happy to hear your thoughts.

A common strategy is to start with a less expensive traffic source to train your pixel, and then build a look-alike audience from people that converted.
Also make sure you have a cart-abandonment remarketing email sequence.
$50 is too low to see any type of conversion with an un-optimized funnel imho.

Thanks! Oh yeah, those 50 bucks were not meant to convert. Watching videos is one thing, getting hands dirty is another. Just wanted to go through he whole process and get approved, just to see things work. The interface keeps changing.
That is what I am implying. We will focus initially on IG influencers and Pinterest and a few sources I've never seen before I just found.
But regarding FB, there you go... I thought LLA were meant to piggyback off Custom Audiences, not external source.
How do I know the pixel is picking up audiences from other traffic sources?

1. Always WC Purchase straight to your product page, never anything else.
2. Focus on Instagram shoutouts, build your lookalikes, and then start running Facebook ads.
3. Run YouTube ads. It's pretty awesome right now.

Dude, thanks for replying!
Surely I'm missing something here, but I've never seen a lookalike "list" build, or where to see that.
I have always thought the LLA derived from specific CA within FB.
Need to dig even deeper it seems. Going to research, but happy for more tips
